I have recently returned from a visit to someplace niiiice and tropic. Oh my good people, I very much feel deeply in love, a love beyond any type of reason, with the power, the beauty and mystery of the ocean. At more than one point I very much felt myself undergoing a transition of sorts... Anyway, this drawling was made whilst I was deeply, and willing under the spell of those tropical waters. it is not entirely finished, but I figured I'd share it now, before my clumsy fin, I mean hand, ruins the work altogether.

Thanks.
This is a photo of the drawling, in the upper right is placed the high priest card, from my personal tarot. Also, laid atop the drawing, there are shells, coral and some stones, which I found under the waves, the same day I drew this.

The inspiration of the ocean has done you well, i love the drawing.
The call of the dread sleeper soaks through the great waves.
I guess it started in R'lyeh and then it spread out.
Now even the coasts is his. His being has formed the oceans. (in my mind)
Now him be callin an howlin like a mad hound does. ;D

I just tripped off this picture again.
Your art makes me want to go to the ocean.

My advice: go ahead, dive in. Taken one month ago: By the way, your words are too kind, and I thank you. Some barnacles and slime have been added. I'd have the dammed thing finished but I am desperately trying to learn how to paint and that is where my attention is at.

I love your drawing, the detail in the barnicles and such is great. The two starfish on either side remind me of the elder sign.

Alright, that Gaaaar post is just awesome.
Yes, those two star-fish were intended as little living elder seals.
Sentries. When the time comes that they finally awake from their long hibernation and crawl off, the high priest of the GOO awakens.
"When the starfishees come a'right,. dread Cthulhu awakens".
