The distance looks good to me, of course I have no depth perception either. Regardless I envy your ability to position the legs and the creases of the clothing, that's one thing I have a lot of difficulty with.

I cant spot any flaws in the depth illusion here either. It could be a sketch for a comic.
but i am myself very bad at depth drawing, if you want harsh (but sometimes valuable) criticism from some really fanatic and skilled drawing artists, then you should really consider posting drawings in the art section at satannet.com. It is the section i enjoy and use on that forum and i have seen people get some really good advice from experienced and skillful artists (even gotten some myself).
There are a lot of people on that forum that one COULD probably argue for ages with, but art is art, and that art section of theirs is smoking hot. ;D
EDIT: Not that you shouldnt post it here too ;D. Your stuff inspires me a lot.
aaah, so THATS where i had heard that name before.

I don't know if I see the same detail as you, but if there's one way this drawing could be seen as unbalanced, then it would be in the apparent amount of effort from the two characters. The kneeling one looks like he just threw himself forward to block a particularly vicious blow, while the standing one doesn't look like he's moving very fast.
