ok, this seems almost too good to be true...
apparently, there's a brand new H.P. Lovecraft collection that must contain damn near all his stories because it comes in at just over 1,000 pages. not only that, but amazon lists it as a hardcover leatherbound edition. and the best part is it priced dirt cheap. $25 !!! that's what i paid for two pizzas delivered last night + tip.
the logical areas of my mind are extremely skeptical because, like i said, it sounds too good to be true. regardless, i'm ordering one and will post my findings once i receive it. this collection, Necronomicon, is dated for release Feb 28th, 2008.
i've also scoured the net for some kind of review or extra information on this commemorative edition, but i found nothing. anyone have more to add?

Sounds good, but i am also skeptical. 1,000 pages? Usually books that big are quite a bit more valuable, especially leatherbound, hardcover versions. Thanks for letting us know about it i'll have to check into getting one.
