Well I've been on a journey of self exploration as of late and haven't really been around. Anyway, on this journey, I've encountered many different belief systems and have been exploring as it were. I finally read The Book of the Law by Aleister Crowley and apparently, I've actually been a Thelemite for some time? Did not know that! The real problem I have is determining which will is the right one to follow since I've become aware of so many within the confines of my own mind. I suppose the best course of action would be to determine which are more vocal? But that is likely a misnomer? "Thou hast no right but to do thy will!" Okay? But which one? I believe that the best way to handle this would be to determine which is "true" as it were since there are many false, derogatory, and often conflicting voices within the self. That said, I am most certainly transgender? So moving towards this "other person" named Betty would be a good course of action anyway. It's also important that I manage to silence false voices within the self and this is easier than expected upon realization. Indeed, true voices come more naturally with practice!

Indeed Shawn! Like I've said myself in the past, "Well either way, you can't argue with success!" As such, I find it's best to negotiate within the self (and to others who may be concerned) and plan out stuff beforehand. That way, you're ready to go when the time comes!

"Remember yourself and your aim" is implicit in your response, so I'm going to skip the obligatory reminder of this. (this is bullshit of course, because I've just reminded you anyway. ) The next level is being flexible in achieving the aim of being 'ready to go' and figuring out what the [aim] of this [aim] is. Being flexible in accomplishing an aim is a part of refining your aim. An aim goes through a certain process of refinement and by achieving it in different ways you distill the essence of your aim by learning what accomplishes it and at the same time learning to let that which doesn't matter truly slide. (There's something relating to sly man's pill here.) Once you have a distilled 200 proof aim, the next step is to consider what the [aim] of the [aim] is. For example, imagine that you are a being on a chessboard who moves pieces. You know you want to move pieces, and you learn to move pieces really well. As you do, it slowly starts to occur to you that there must be more to your life on the chessboard than moving pieces around a chessboard -- that there's some undiscovered mystery behind why you're moving them but you only have caught glimpses. (There's something relating to a magnetic center and the search for the miraculous here.) If you've done this enough times, then you're familiar with the process and you start to look for the [aim] of the [aim] sooner and sooner in the process. (There's something relating to recurrence here.) (This may be very abstract / dry / textbook. Another response forthcoming.)

"Aim?" Interesting word there? Surely we must distill this to absolute purity in order to understand precisely what it is. We must also take into consideration that there is often more than one aim yes?

Please ignore my technical retardation.
Self-criticism stops self-exploration. If your aim is to explore yourself, then explore. Just take the paths and see where they lead and get all the information you can and once you have a better understanding of yourself, then you can start the process of judgement.

Astute observation. So I suppose a good way of doing it would be to tell myself to become as one of my stuffed animals then? To review the world without judgment or preconceived notions... Well, that's just my way anyhow!
