I received both Cthulhu Cult and Liber A:O earlier in the week. I have been browsing through them from time to time. I started reading Cthulhu Cult yesterday and I am already 100 pages in and I finally had to put it down so I could sleep last night. I find the book enthralling and the wisdom contained within is very relevant. There are many passages worth highlighting and spending some time reflecting upon the message. I anticipate completing the reading of Cthulhu Cult today and starting on Liber A:O either later today or the next. Then it will be time to read them again but I will go through them slowly so I can take in the knowledge.
Now is the moment of Awakening!

I finished Cthulhu Cult earlier today. I am looking forward to going through the tome while paying greater attention to the details. I am now 4 chapters in on Liber A:O so far. It's all still very interesting reading. Is there a certain book that anybody would suggest as being essential to read next?

[teal]There is a Cult reading list floating around somewhere, I'm not sure where it went to.[/teal]

There is this list on the Cult's social networking site. I reccomend reading through this and as many of these books as you can: cultofcthulhu.wall.fm/forum/topic/232/But for an 'essential' book to read next, I reccomend anything on the Fourth Way. I would suggest The Fourth Way by Ouspensky as a basic primer. I would be interested in hearing your revelations during reading. Sharing ideas with your fellows allows you to teach and learn at the same time. Awake! ~Wren

Thanks. That's exactly the type of suggestions I was looking for.

I have completed both books. Now it is time to read them again while focusing on root ideas to study further.
