I as what the Vampyre Community would call a hybrid (both sang and psi vampyre) and a proponent, student and practitioner of both the teachings of House Kepheru',and the Ordo Strigoi Vii have noticed two psuedo-Vampyre rituals in here.
Whats up with them?I'm asking because one is basically in it's on way saying do x y and z and you'll become a Vampyre in 3 easy steps.

Greetings Timothy
The ritual I shared here(in the thread "Vampiric Sorcery") is rooted in the Qliphothic paradigm(calling on Ashtaroth, lord of the Qliphah Agshekoloh) and is designed to drain the prana of an individual, weakening the target and strengthening the caster. It certainly doesn't claim to transform the caster into a vampire or anything of that sort. The spell uses basic principles of sympathetic magic(using an image or substance connected to the target and plants which possess vampiric properties) in addition to the aforementioned Qliphothic component.

How are you creating the vergence with this ritual, out of curiosity?

Hi Master Cora'Sahn-Could you explain what you mean by vergence? I'm not sure I'm familiar with the term in an occult context.

The Vectors are what connects the ritual to the target, the emotional investment is essentially the ties that bind. <-Vergence
Make sense?

Sure-The sympathetic link to the target. In the case of the ritual I posted, I suggested making use of hair, nail clippings, a photograph, a personal item owned by the victim as well as placing an object with the sigil of Agshekoloh on the target's property.

Not exactly what I had in mind. I was referring to the emotional connection.

OK, sure. Well this ritual isn't so much about developing an emotional or personal connection with the target as much as it is about impersonally cannibalizing the victim's essence. It's a fairly basic rite which relies on the principles of sympathetic magic on one hand(image etc. of the victim+plants with vampiric properties), and Qliphothic magic on the other(calling on Astaroth in hir role as the ruling archdaemon of the Qliphah Agshekoloh/Gasheklah, associated with vampirism).
