My religion is the Cult of Cthulhu, man.
It's a true, complete and serious religion. Read more, you have everything, except maybe a well definite liturgy, but first it is not an obligation for a religion and second we will have: I'm finishing an essay and the Emerald Mass is my next task.

Correct me if I am wrong but membership in the CoC does not require any particular religion. This is chaos magic of the highest order the way I see it. Not unlike Freemasonry and Thelema where men of any and all faiths can come together under a common banner to partake of the great work. You can worship whatever you like, I worship my own divinity personally but many god forms are worthy of emulation. The suffix -ian meaning "to be like" as in Odian or Setian, and most commonly christ-ian are systems where the god form is an ideal state or personification of desired states. So it is with Cthulhu, we may use him as an essential tool for the annhilation of the matrix all around us, that we may awake!! On a side note, how do many of you personally feel, as well as whats the public concensus in regards to hardline vs softlinbe poly theism? I see alot of similarities in Cthulhu, the Babalonian Tiamat, and the Midgard Serpent Jormungander. Thank you in advance.

I am a Cthulhu Cultist first and foremost but I also work Luciferianism into the mix. Lately I have been feeling a stronger Adversarial current within me and have been fixated on Luciferianism, so much so that I even have dreams that I am participating in some sort of dark ritual.
My background is that of Modern (LaVeyan) Satanism and I still consider myself part of that as well. The great thing about all of this is that my beliefs don't conflict with one another and instead mesh pretty well.

Well I utilize a hodge podge of different ideas and belief structures as they can all bring something to the table. I call this ideal Kaos Paganism. I've meshed Canaanite Paganism (aka Demonolotry) along with both theistic and atheistic Satanism, along with some Taoist and Luciferian leanings... If belief is indeed reality, why not make your own damn religion?

I am a Cthulhu cultist, I am devoted to self preservation. I believe my fate is in my own hands and seek to crush any who try to take my freedoms away from me. I do not worship archetypes I follow their example and use them as the blueprint for my own ascension. I honor and praise the forces of the universe and strive to assimilate them into my being so that I, one day, will become like unto them; a limitless, multifaceted being.

My religion now is the Cult of Cthulhu, I am a former atheist, and before that I was a christian, long time ago, after I quit crhistianity I became an atheist because I could not belive in the god of the bible, 2 many flaws, and lack of logic in everything, and even thought if it was true, yahweh wasnt the good guy there(I dont care if he was good or bad in the end all I cared was I could not belive in something that's not giving me the real facts telling me something is good when everyone cleary sees otherwise) therefore I became an atheist until I came across cthulhu, I never read hp lovecraft stories, althought I was intrigued, so I just search, until I got some info about all-in-general cthulhu mythos, read it all, and some months later i discover cult of cthulhu and it's 1º book/bible I read it and a few weeks later I had a dream about cthulhu wanting me to awake (Dream is the the thread- In the sunken city of R'lyeh walk only mad things...), so I decided to take a more active rolle on the subject, but after a while I quited because I didnt knew the forum and couldnt find people to awnser my questions, although almost 1 year later I had another dream about the Great old ones, and then I decided it was time, while trying to search for the now non-existing website of Cultofcthulhu.net I went to Venger Satanis facebook page, and found a link to a forum, now here I am-Rocking like a hurricane- XD
