Brother satanis if you are reading this I have a question for you when did you learn of the left hand path and when did you start honoring the outer gods and the great old ones? Ia Ia Cthulhu fhatgn! I was always fascinated - simultaneously attracted and repelled - by the dark side, horror, weirdness, and the unknown. Reading H.P. Lovecraft provided the strongest feelings of fascination in me. Then, reading the works of Anton Szandor LaVey. I began to devour the former in 6th or 7th grade while the latter was reserved for 10th. Lovecraft and LaVey became my Left Hand Path foundation. Knowing about dark forces virtually demanded that I honor such higher beings.
But I suppose it wasn't until reading Temple of Set material that I began to fully distinguish exactly what was LHP and what was either right hand path or non applicable.

I was always reading new Age books & occult books growing up, but never heard of The Left Hand path till here on the COC forum. I might have heard it, but never hung with like minded people so it went no where.
One thing good about the term "Left Hand Path" is that it's a quick reminder of an outlook one can have when making decisions. I like it.
Awaken.
