afternoon, I've been looking into power meditations concerning kundalini. I'm going off the instructions on the joy of Satan ministries meditation page. has anyone else had any experience with kundalini and, or finished a power meditation program. or used any sites that would have better information? here's the link to the homepage of the joy of Satan ministries. joyofsatan.org/

I was part of JoS before coming here. JoS views have some eh issues but i won't go into that. The meditations did work and i also did some of the training program. There similar to Chaos Magick workings with the sigils and color coding. The meditations themselves can be closely related to serpent yoga. However my only complaint is really what they plan to use it for. But also thats also a personal opinion.

agreed, I've heard they take a nazi'ish view of things, did you complete the meditations and opening of the chakras?, what should i start with? I was thinking third eye since it's the first posted

Yup plus they promote paranoia. JEWS WHERES THE JEWS. Its funny for a time but it gets sad pretty fast. I would start with Root chakra work on the base and work up.

I tried various kundalini and chakra based meditations for ages to little avail. Visualizations are limiting when it comes to meditation and these practices i think focus to much on overly complex mental imagery.
I suggest samadhi meditation. It has similar forms in both Mahayana and Theravada. Most of it's practices are similar across the various schools of Buddhism, the differences coming down mostly to culture and referential terms. I personally when through Tibetan tantra and Vajrasattva. The ultimate goal of this type of meditation is to still the mind, eventually developing a state of complete equipoise in meditation. It actually is such a transcendental phenomenon that it is accompanied with several physical effects as well. Other then the fact the mind is completely quiet and still which in of itself feels strange, the body starts to feel weightless and almost non existent in the deeper states of Samadhi. Also the final chakra gate(to refer it to what you originally said) will open. This sensation is hard for me to describe, but it's like having the mind flow free into the higher states of the cosmos and of consciousness.
I suggest looking into calm abiding and stillness focus. also don't play to loosely with Buddhist Dhamma, it doesn't work like that.

I admit I too have done the programme which the JoS has done, but there Neo Nazi stance puts me right off! Helpful programme indeed but I started off with Third Eye and it is good that other smaller chakras are paid attention to like the hand and feet chakras. Have heard that most of the info on that site comes from other sources.
