This is a good place to start. But the 4th way isn't a theory it's a practice.
The CoC has all ready got several sub groups existing within it. also we employ a grotto system, which in some cases may work in a similar way to what your describing. I couldn't see it being a problem that you wish to operate another group whilst coming here. But if you become a member you are required to do the work(that work being work on yourself).
welcome to the CoC

You can affiliate yourself with any group you desire. As Shaz'rahjeem stated, you must do the Work. Everything else is secondary.
Start with "The Psychology of Man's Possible Evolution" by P.D. Ouspensky. Then read, In Search of the Miraculous by Ouspensky. Finally, check out The Fourth Way by Ouspensky. I believe all of those can be found online if you don't wish to purchase the books (although, chances are you could find at least one of these titles in your local used book store). Cthulhu Cult and Liber A:O provide a bit of introductory 4th Way information, but don't neglect the source material. On the other hand, if you wanted to jump from "The Psychology of Man's Possible Evolution", which is extremely brief, to Boris Mouravieff's Gnosis, I don't see a problem with that.
Welcome to the forum.
