I know some of us might be pretty passive or even hostile to the Gun issue, but I must say I think a lot of good will come out of this. Don't make your judgment on just this one video, there's a bunch you can see on you tube. Please see some others before you post.
Here's another one
The good side of this serves two main goals as far as I can see. #1 To show Law Enforcement that were not animal/drones who need to be corralled. #2 Show the public that rights must be used, for them to matter. I was really inspired by all this & felt a bit left out that I my self am not doing my part to "be a citizen" & give a shit:)
But it's cool to see even young people studying the issue & being active. I never watched them before.

I wonder if the conservative monopoly on support for gun rights will last. As the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations are having their effect on, and more likely expressing, the public mind, I think the answer will be no, there will be leftie populists who support the 2nd Amendment.

I am passive on this forum for my views on this topic, but being an ex-military professional soldier, I support the people's right to bear arms! gun rights....!

I don't see myself carrying a gun with me everywhere I go, but it is great that I have the option to if I wanted. I always here people say it is a bad thing to allow others to carry guns in public, and that there should be a ban on the right to arms. I always respond by saying that even if there was a ban, that won't stop most people from carrying a gun anyway, and if there aren't enough people with a means of protecting themselves, there may be killings daily. Pure speculation, but it's something to consider.

Most of my criminal past has to do with me trusting the police("Just be honest & I'll help you out") type discussions & they all ultimately led me to the grave when it came to my "Wrong doings". One thing you must understand is that no matter how much you may like or respect the police, they really don't know who you are & are looking for crime, That is what they are payed for, that is what you & I pay for with our taxes. If they don't find crime, then they aren't doing they're jobs. This is something people are very unaware of. They have a state budget to keep up with as we'll as other quotas. It's very important that they find & convict "criminals" whether you may be one or not. It's not there fault is what I'm saying. You pay them to find criminals & that is what they're gonna do, whether they gotta lie, cheat or steal(that's an over exaggeration) to make that happen. That's the whole point of being a cop! FIND & CONVICT, FIND & CONVICT, FIND & CONVICT. Not, CHECK & LET GO, CHECK & LET GO:) Know what I mean lol. Once you understand there role in your world, it should(as a citizen) help you respect the difference between you, and an actual criminal. So when you get pulled over, you should determine just how much of a criminal you actually are & decide whether you consent to a search of your person OR CAR before you say ANYTHING! Remember this my friends!
The COP is not responsible, you are! It's up to you (given your rights) to determine whether you should be driven like cattle & obey(& suffer the consequences), OR decide when you are not in violation & disobey. It's that simple. We must respect the right we have & exercise them with out fear. If you do not exercise them, then they do not matter too you & you can live as happily as you want to with out much trouble. Want the blue PILL?
Scary that certain right's can just disappear over night. DO they matter? Who knows?
Awake!
