Ok, Venger, as you recommended I've posted this hear as a new thread I was reading on the forum this morning and I was wondering.... (section that I've been reading in was CoC Philosophy: thread: human consciousness unnatural.) Why do people on the dark path feel so threatnend by the white light path? I do not understand that at all. I used to feel the same way about the dark light but since I've been exploring it I know there is nothing to feel threatnend about. (Mind you I still need to do a lot of reading up:-) now I'm reading the Fourth Way ) They both come from the same point of origin so neither is good or evil but is both at the same time, as are human being aswell. I also noticed how many people struggle with the fact that they are human! Try and figure that one out! It's like bringing water to the sea... waiting for Godot... The fact that we are human is right in our face and nothing to be done about. But what is interesting is that in my view of life we have chosen to be here, to learne certain things and being human with only limited capacities can be a major setback sometimes but also our biggest strength! (yes there is also duality here) I think what is most difficult for most of us is knowing(when awake) that we are divine, we all cary a divine spark within us, but we feel limited by our vessel that is our body. I believe we need to find our divinity again by experiencing it through our body/vessel. That is the way to inner knowledge and willpower. White light has a different approach to things but in essence I don't see much difference. And I'm talking here on energy level because the way both paths are represented is merely what you feel attracted to, either is darkness and its imagery or its light. I don't intend to stagnate here in the battle of the which side is better or not as that is of no importance. What is important is to overcome this duality and go on from that point. I'm more interested on our link to the AO as I don't believe them to be human (understatement of the year LOL) but they have been here for a very long time, before our prehistorical time, so what is their involvement with us, why are we such an important kind of experiment to them to hang out here for so long, what is our true nature.... I feel very connected to Atlantis and Lemuria. So when I read about them its like, 'hey I know this', it feels like home somehow. I think we are offspring of alien beings and that is our link to the divine spark so there is a way of becoming one with them again. A friend of mine was telling me yesterday about an experience she had and when she discribed it I thought like yes that must be something like that... She went to a weeked course dealing with the alignment of the left and rigth brain half and how people have forgotten how to use that half that deals with intuition and only work with the rational part. When you only work from the rational half you can not achieve much as you react from your ego and not your higher self. So to accomplish things both need to be activated. Appearently in this course you learn tricks how to do this but my friend stayed very obscure about that which I found a bit blah but never mind that I will have to find out on my own effort I guess, the best way to learne. It reminded me of NLP(neuro linguistic programming, google it !) But this aside....she had a very interesting experience....I don't know if you are familiar with kundalini energy? It's a very powerfull kind of energy that runs through your body when activated and it can only get activated when you have no other blokkages on the other chakra's. She felt completely paralized as if she was part of the opposing magnet, attracting eachother, she couldn't free herself from it and it was like being in a horrible hurricane, she couldn't do anything but submit to it and she said it to be a very frightning experience, the most frightning you can experience (Kthulhu that is what I thought of immediately). She said it was never a state you would go to by free will as it is so powerful that it can actually kill you when not careful! Does that ring any bells? Oh yes, and in her case everything went all orange, yes orange! *smirk* After the experience she had to take time of work as she felt she had to release everything she felt within and she started painting without any goal whatsoever but just painted and painted and it all made sense at the end as they represented something that made sense to her. What do you think about this?

It is mt true that the "dark and light" paths merge with one another, or to be even more precise, they are aligned, they are one and the same. This, I know, is what you mean to say, but often, human intellect gets in the way of super-human comprehension. The reason for the hatred of the so-called "White-Light" paths or religions, is not for what they represent, but for the presentation of the methodology involved in achieving the true light of divine Gnosis, or whatever it is to be called. They (WhiteLight) say that, in order to achieve divinity, one must endure a process of self-denial and abstinence; one may disagree, but this is the MAJOR point of discrepany within the "WhiteLight" philosophies. The DarkLight understands that divinity is not something to be achieved, as if from the inside out, but rather from the outside in, or from the inside in, or the outside out: the DarkLight understands that there is no divinity to be achieved OUTSIDE of oneself, for all objective reality is merely the subjective brought to manifestation. In "time," by different means, and in the course of ones own ability to comprehend, are all things eventually understood, and this is the shining void of the No-Path. All paths lead to No-Path. No-Path leads inside, if it is being followed from the outside, or outside, if it is being followed from the inside. It's all very simple; the kind of simplicity which leaves mad-men in the wake of genius: and leaves genius in the wake of lunacy. Orange, eh? Sounds like your friend may have met with one of the many facets of All That Is (Sethen). Sethen is All That Is; All That Is is the collective consciousness of all personalities of the A:O; the A:O are the differentiated personalities and facets of Sethen (when one considers these entities indeed to be forces of Chaotic Nature). many do not understand, and there are few who ever will. Therefore if something is founded on discrepancy or error, it is most likely with the best of intentions, due in all probability to the ignorance of a certain individual, whether teacher or practitioner, espouser or espoused. Many within our movement place high standings on being human, and accepting the human nature. I am afraid that I am one of but a few who understand the coming Transfiguration to be one of spiritual, mental, and PHYSICAL evolution. While others relish the chance to be human, I relish the chance to move beyond human. I wish to become more like Them. And I wish this for those I love as well. Advancement is advancement, and evolution is evolution. Lvx is the fifth element, -M.

I UNDERSTAND every word you say M. Spriritual, mental and physical growth...it all is already begun, look around you, it is all there and happening...you have to be profound asleep not to notice that! Many words but little said...and I read behind, underneath and through the words for I am not afraid to use and trust my instinct/intuition/higher self...you can call it whatever you want it's all the same. I am an observer, little I do not see....

"Many words, but little said" Just like the Bible, and all of those other "useless" works as well. I write not only for your benefit, but for others as well...for myself as well. And if the transfiguration is going on all around us, and it's happening so obviously, then why is it not apparent? Are humans evolving into ferns? I am not sure how to reply to your reply, so Let us leave the words at a minimum:

if we divide these two camps into the Right Hand and Left Hand Paths, that might be easier...
the Right Hand Path seeks to bring one's self closer to nature, the universe, and the divine. the Left Hand Path seeks to bring nature, the universe, and the divine closer to one's self or one's personal goals. so really, these are opposite alignments. especially if you consider the universe to be hostile to humanity whilest the Old Ones give us aid.
instead of seeing things as good vs. evil, see them as what is beneficial and what is not beneficial. what decisions will lead to progress and which lead to further imprisonment?
The Old Ones helped primitive ape-men evolve into higher beings and our potential is limitless. i believe that the Old Ones helped us evolve to carry on Their genetic code (spiritually), although it's possible that we are soldiers created to fight the Lesser Gods which currently control the universe. or perhaps we were some kind of accident?
what is our true nature? the Will to power? is that the nature of the A:O?
i'm sure there is something to that Kundali energy. maybe she experienced something metaphysical? sounds like it. that orange bit reminds me of a short story i wrote a few years ago. i'll post it in the fiction section of the forum soon.

our purpouse definatley has somthing to do with with our potential. I started an independant study to follow clues to our purpouse like potential and the such. by looking at what we might be able to do we can get a better idea of what we should do. also I had a thought about your friend seeing orange, when high amounts of energy in the body are released it alters reaction time and imediate perception. I think she SUPER-percieved the color of her own eyelids. just a thought. ;D

Good reply, deffo, HP. the only thing I would like to add (personally) is that I believe that the genetic code is one both physical as well as spiritual. Hmmm, seems I already said that..forgive the repetition. Well, I only say this because it has turned up in my studies time and again; and then once I got the internet imagine how surprised I was to find all the conspiracy theories about it, haha! Lvx, -M.

M. said: "the only thing I would like to add (personally) is that I believe that the genetic code is one both physical as well as spiritual." Very interesting point you made!
These are one of the big changes taking place as referred to as a new type of children are being born since the early seventies. There has been some serious research on this by psychologists and these children are referred to as indigo-children, new time children, star-children. What they all have in common is the fact that they are extremely sensitive, creative and well balanced, they carry a peace of the divine puzzle within themselves and they have the capacity to actually complete the puzzle. As if there has been some genetic alteration. They have some kind of knowledge that goes beyond 'normal' knowledge. Anyone who has children are works with children and observes them will know what I mean. Lots of info can be found on the subject on line when googled.

Yes, I have heard of the Indigo Children, but I believe that, in their case, the "divine genetic code" has just accelerated due to the advancement of technology, and general increase of knowledge. While it may provide insight, certainly, it is ultimately not the physical and spiritual "Transfiguration" to which I refer. This is something much more intense, and intensely personal, between each individual and thei respective Godhead. Lvx, -M.

<-----Kundalini sickness -Releasing blockages is good, but if u do it too fast u burn out badly, just a fair warning on experience after overloading chakra points and whatnot. In the end ur as good as having everything blocked if u burn out.The other problem if u move to fast are the massive complexes and hallucinations that occur after burning it out.Unstable any one?
Funny thing is rhp/white gives u the task of discovery,lhp/black is more direct and instead of seeking, you create a means to what you want.Least in my opinion.I prefer neither white or black in terms of energy as I see colors beyond my ability to describe which i like (the octarine of chaos magick)
um to put it better rhp is following gods and lhp is to become a god.
If i were hexing,id go rhp and convince the god forms i follow that a foe is getting in my way of me adoring them. What more do they want than a humble and obedient plaything? And as such -->Wrath of Gods -->Thus the foe is dead and i avoid backlash and complexes as i didn't do it.
For personal gain I go lhp...I am god and my magnetism invites opportunity.Theres something I want and by all means this mind and body will have it.So I do my thing and get it via self adoration and magic. As such I avoid being a debtor to gods whom are all often harsh and drive terrifyingly horrid bargains like having a heart attack or taking your soul.
Of course I am of an old and dying war-faring, hateful and often manipulative and material needs mindset breed. As thus I am no indigo child so I only see the value of lhp and rhp in terms of my magics, power and in terms of manipulating my own mind to operate more efficiently (via magic, glamours etc.).For me the spiritual world is just an ends to my gratification on this physical plane which I spend way more time in.and a substance to be channeled into my greatest pleasure...art.
As such I ask,how do you indigo childes view it?Why seek ye the spirit ,why matter any balance to you.I know my old breed answer but what is yours? If you seek not power, wealth,spiritual/physical/mental pleasure or the ability to gratify your ego or the ability to kill ,what is your purpose oh indigo ones?I am a simpleton unable to comprehend the god gene ones so please speak carefully that I may comprehend.
Where does the artists fit in the scheme of things. Is he neither indigo, god gene nor old minded?Or is the artist just another not comprehend-able being aka just artist?

Jameson, I am impressed by your reply, so straight forward and to the point. It is obvious that you know what you want in life. Mind you, not everyone knows what their business is here. When you say, you create means to what you want, it would be necessary to know what you want. I for one don't as I'm not interested in power, materialism, status as these are all earth bound needs and desires. Even when you have obtained all of those things will you be able to say that you are content?? I wonder. Because these things only give momentarily pleasure. I am looking for something everlasting maybe that is why there is such an overwhelming craving to go 'home' as everything is everlasting at 'home'. I hope I will be able to find what I am looking for here? This is only my personal opinion and therefor no judgment but don't you think it is kind of simplistic to think that rhp is simply following gods? Things aren't that black and white. I for one have never followed any gods whatsoever in these 15 years in study of the rhp. Have you ever heard/worked with the energy of the Masters or the Purple Flame? This are matters beyond worshiping gods. I see everything in regard of myself, everything I do I do for my personal growth not to please some god as I don't believe in gods. Within everyone a divine spark is present and in essence the knowledge is there, what I have been trying to do is to remember, remember who I am, remember why am I here.... once you come into this world from behind the veil we seem to forget everything we once were, part of a one-ness that links everything and everyone. I think that some people come here carrying a larger memory of things than others. So some are more asleep than others.
Indigo children are the ones with a larger memory I believe:
They come into the world with a feeling of royalty (and often act like it) They have a feeling of "deserving to be here," and are surprised when others don't share that. Self-worth is not a big issue. They often tell the parents "who they are." They have difficulty with absolute authority (authority without explanation or choice). They simply will not do certain things; for example, waiting in line is difficult for them. They get frustrated with systems that are ritually oriented and don't require creative thought. They often see better ways of doing things, both at home and in school, which makes them seem like "system busters" (nonconforming to any system). They seem antisocial unless they are with their own kind. If there are no others of like consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling like no other human understands them. School is often extremely difficult for them socially. They will not respond to "guilt" discipline ("Wait till your father gets home and finds out what you did"). They are not shy in letting you know what they need. Just to give you some kind of idea with what I mean when I mention Indigo children
Your ways of obtaining what you desire are interesting but demand a large knowledge of the self. As in Self adoration you need to know yourself (reactions, behavior ...), like yourself and accepts yourself. Obviously not an easy task, the Fourth Way is good reading material on this matter but applying it is a totally different matter. Magic is also used in rhp like working with energy, Purple Flame, visualizations, repetitive en coherent use of thoughts ('what you sent out is what you'll receive') but always and this is very different from the lhp, you can not use magic to harm others or for self enrichment as every magic used will return in 3-fold to the practitioner, this may sound naive to you but think about it you can only be responsible for yourself in your actions, what would give one the right to control others when one can't even control oneself? I think learning how to deal with yourself and control yourself is already a big enough chunk to chew on. Let me know what your opinion is on this Jameson? And thanks again for your reply, much appreciated.

Great ideas at work here, but I feel as if it is a sort of dance aroud the real issue. All of these things are very SIMPLE to comprehend, therefore, STOP TRYING TO COMPLICATE THEM! lol! First of all, to Thordur, the law of 3x3 is hogwash. There are other posts about this somewhere around here, so I won't bother telling you WHY it's hogwash, but you'll eventually see that it is. To Jameson, RHP is much more than (merely) belief in Gods, but I know that you know this, and I know that further words may actually cloud the issue further, rather than illuminate it. To any and all: Much of what you say is true. It's ALL true! Any falsehood perceived as such is a result of the obsolescence of a given idea relative to one's own Template or Paradigm. RHP=LHP; Right hand, and Left hand...but who controls both hands? God? and who is God? God is: I Am That I Am Xepera Xeper Xeperu All That Is The Shining Luminous Void.... etc. Any names we give to the multiple facets of "God" become exactly that: personalized facets of God, customized by an individual to meet whatever needs or desire may be required by the Magus/Practicioner/Querent. Right or Left, lets all shake hands; perhaps the Cosmos will listen... Lvx, -M.

The picture you paint of indigo children does to some degree remind me of myself in some ways,of this i am surprised.
You can forgive my simplistic explanations.Rhp and Lhp often have the same goals be it on the physical plane or spiritual. My desires in this world will enhance me in others in my opinion. The approach of rhp is one of patience, cultivation and restraint to deny one's earthly nature and recognize a spiritual one.Lhp is the embrace of the Earthly nature, its who we are ,to restrain is to in actuality crush the spirit, not enhance it.Choose what you like.My rhp serves when I have lived my pleasures to the point they dull. The patience and restraint until I have a fevered desire ,then I will take the lhp and fill my hunger to no end.The cycle of one dual to another ,a cycle to which none of us are exempt.
i also understand pleasures are momentary in this world but these pleasures become memories,it is memory that I desire. To create a massive index of experiences both pleasurable and painful as a means to appreciate who I am and what I can do.I agree there is a oness where all possibilities are simultaneous to consciousness and where one realizes they are everything-Yog Sothoth ,but even this realization can be temporary.
I already had visions of past lives that weren't good at all compared to what I got now.Its deeply personal but Imma share it anyway.Being a lowly servant in a far off kingdom alone and broke in the desert to being a young girl rapped and discarded. How do I know it was real? The quality is undeniable and the scars travel across lifetimes but I could just be a poor delusional fool, draw your own conclusions. If I discovered a silver key back then, than this is what I wanted, where I am now,to experience reality from this perspective.I stay in this physical world because my progress here will influence not only my mind but my spiritual well being.
Theres nothing greater than having moments where you don't think you can do something, you look back and see you did things that seem crazy now and smile knowing nothing will hold you back, the negative feelings disappear and you charge forward with a smile. These moments are what I live for.
Warning-Ranting here-In response to how unnatural human consciousness is,I simply acknowledge in the end it will naturally seek to see itself,a reflection of its existence.Perhaps it is greater than nature or accidental,or pushed by something other, but human consciousness is defiantly unique.I'm gonna rant,I'm taking psychology class and there are 5-6 different individual sections of how to view the mind, some which contradict others. The more I find out though, the more I'm convinced they are all right ,the mind behaves differently at different times like having different paintings of one person beneath the surface.Unnatural maybe but very amazing.
In response to areas of the brain,I'd like to actually know your sources of such info. From what I read the left hemisphere is that of things dealing with scineces, math etc,the right deals with art poetry, etc. However the back regions , there is a tendency to judge based on emotions. And of course the front deals with time, coming up with scenarios, making decisions ,here left and right aren't as defined.Visualizations, audio and other imaginings occur due to how well the neurons in the front most regions change to tune itself to the different senses.Im not very learned in it so my descriptions are elementary,Im ranting here too.But I would have liked the specifics or greater detail.Lhp and Rhp have nothing to do with a specific hemisphere(left or right) of the brain to my knowledge as limited as it may be.

Well about the areas of the brain, the course my friend took is very similar to NLP (neuro linguistic programming). In short, NLP is about how to run our brain in a productive way to consistently achieve the results we want. And you are very right when you say that psychology is very interesting and most theories being true. The human mind/consciousness is very complex.

As for our purpose, its simply this-whatever we desire it to be-.I'll desire nor follow nothing more and nothing less.I'll follow neither gods nor men,nor even will.I will do as I do because I can and have the capability.Tis the highest and only reason and purpose I can attribute for humankind or at least myself for now.

I find this topic of more then average interest for two reasons. I was already leaning towards the Left Hand path, but it wasn't until it was rephrased to show me how it is meant to make a hostile universe more like or tolerable to ones self, that I made the decision. The other point I find fascinating is, have the Old Ones passed down some genetic gifts to us? Myself and a rare few I have encountered all have some abnormal traits, this is aside from the magicks that are available to virtually anyone who's mind is open. Could this abnormality's be explained by the Old Ones trying to offer up some hep to the next generation of followers and if so why has mine made my life so much worse?

i believe so, but it depends on the person and the gift. i can't judge anything without details.
possibly because the Emerald Kingdom of Cthulhu is antithetical to the operations of this world. the Old Ones influenced our evolution, but the Lesser Gods still feed upon us daily.

Very interesting thread going on here. I am startled by the number of posts on here by people with "an artistic bent". It brought to mind the premise of a well-worn book in my library. Just wanted to add supporting evidence to the statement that it is the right side of the brain which is the intuitive side and the left side of the brain that is the more analytical. "... so-called "split-brain" studies carried out during the 1950's and 60's at the California Institute of Technology by Roger W. Sperry and his associates. Briefly stated, the Cal Tech group determined that both hemispheres of the human brain are involved in higher cognitive functions and that the two hemispheres employ different methods or modes of processing information. That work provided me with the sudden illumination that an individual's ability to draw was perhaps mainly controlled by the ability to shift to a different-from-ordinary way of processing visual information - to shift from verbal, analytic processing ...left mode, ...to spatial, global processing ... right mode. With this illumination, part of the puzzle - why some students learned to draw more easily than others - fell into place for me." Cited from: Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards.

when the right side of the brain has the upper hand, such as in one's dream-life, then things such as Demon Gods and black sorcery become possible!
even if a person is non-artistic, there must be ways to develop the right hemisphere. who wants to research this area?
