So, being the fanatical Yog-Sothoth follower that I am, I want to do a ritual thats akin to entering da'ath and confronting Choronzon, except using pure lovecraftian concepts rather than qaballah. I plan on doing this by a serious intake of cannabis, and I may even go as far as planning the ritual to model the rite psychology and setting for the ritual until next weekend, which will be the most laid back time to do so.
I may build a bong for this, additionally.
Opinions, advice?
Edit: I am aware that this operation is potentially harmful if I am not prepared. Alternatively, if I am not prepared, I can maybe do some serious transcension of dualistic concepts rite.
My ideas for this...
-Good/Evil
-Energetic/Still
-Passive/Aggressive
I believe much of the cannabis use for the week will involve some minor preparation workings to harden my mind, and to divinate the structure of my psyche until I have a map. Than I can fully work in a trustable way with my psyche without causing many screwups.
I consider myself to be stable. Empaths agree my presence is usually a wave of calm. Personally I'd prefer to have a maddeningly awakening presence, but that can probably be transcended and doing it now would be a bad idea for me
Heres a copy-paste of my OC (Yog-sothoth smite that forum) post on tarot.
I plan on doing a serious dualistic transcending rite next weekend, or a series of minor rites over a period of time if I am not yet ready to enter the abyss. I was thinking of using the tarot to first divinate the NUMBER of psyche divisions I should use, than draw a card for each of those divisions and see what they are. Than see how many aspects should make up a significant percentage of those facets by divinating a card drawn number for each psyche division, than draw cards to see WHAT those traits are.
My guess is the next step would be to find each opposing or hindering pair of traits.
Edit: I am now interested in resisting the automation of myself (for some reason the morning has given me a bunch of realizations I need to direct toward goals, which is why this post has been created), and my own fears which keep me automated. This may very well mean casting myself into the Abysmal maw of Azathoth, who I interpret to be a sort of cosmic choronzon without restrain. Would this be advise? Or just a bad idea?
A map of my psyche will be posted sometime shortly.
