It must be frustrating to not get any feedback on your first works. The ideas are interesting. Paint and markers are difficult mediums to begin with. Perhaps you could get yourself some good traditional pencils and try your hand at sketching. There you have various ways or outlining and shading. The eraser is fantastic for adding texture and for correcting small errors. Your could always go back and add a bit of watercolors for color and punctuation.

I hate to be an art critic because I strongly believe that all artistic expression is ritualization, and every art piece is a ritual object. Every artist has their own unique style and chosen mediums. The more you express, the more the expression takes form. Keep expressing, and you will note your own improvements.
