Immortality; the end and the beginning.
For most the concept of immortality is rooted in conecpts of the flesh. This is flawed perception and itself presents a barrier to the true apprehension of immortality.
The only process which may grant immortality is the process of summation itself.
The awareness with which most operate is not extra-dimensional in nature and thusly may not precieve anything beyond itself; whether within or without.
Only with the creation/realization (close attention to the word "realize" will reveal that it implies an indirect form of creation) of the extra-dimensional self. This "self" is not an aggregate consciousness, and thusly is not subject to various impluses as experienced here, in this realm.
This extra-dimensional awareness however DOES encompass our present mode of awareness, yet it is infinitely beyond it (and within it).
Through the process of internal aeonics one MAY achieve summation, which implises movement from lesser awareness to an integrated perception.
What does this have to do with immortality?
Everything.
The aggregate awareness is based upon our experiences in this singular material form. Most simply attach to the human morphic feild of resonance and call that thier "personality" or what have you. Since it is a scientifically verifiable fact that one can exist WITHOUT the region of the brain which dictates "personality"; it must also be surmised that there is a function of awareness which is latent, yet sustains the WHOLE of being ITSELF. This sustanance would also extend to more subtle realms as well, including the astral body and even the "higher self".
All of these answer to the extra-dimensional (or acasual) mind which is itself BEYOND the forms (etheric and material) which pass away.
A being who functions from this totality of perception is essentialy immortal. Such a being may pick up and drop incarnations at will. Having transcended the intellectual self, such a being is privy to all wisdom because such a one IS the embodiment of wisdom and that which gives rise to it.
Physical immortality is also inherent even though the forms AND associated consciousness may dissipate. (but science also tells us that matter cannot be destroyed, but only may change form).
Thusly is an immortal one who has become all in one in none.
A being of infinite flux.
This implies death.
this implies a return to singularity on all fronts, within and without.
Only in RARE circumstances may one be a true immortal yet remain within the flesh. Even then, such beings usually lay down thier physical manifestation upon completion of thier tasks.
The road to such an attainment is long and perilous, and the maps are many. Yet such is human nature that most would simply be content saying such a thing is impossible, unatainable.
