I have noticed that Carlos Castaneda books and Ouspensky/Gurdjieff is similar in places.
eg, Withdrawing techniques is exactly like the "not doings" described in the CC books .

When I finally forwarded this finding to a friend, my friend replied this is why Ouspensky is on the to read list on the CC group we are both member of and finally worked out one of the reasons why I feel like at times I am making so much progess is that the material of all three authors just keeps on bouncing and feeding off each other.
I have also come across other independent info regarding the link between these three authors, one of those is also one of the books I have recommended called High Strangeness.
For those who would like to explore this link I recommend getting The Promise of Power by Tomas first as it is very good at getting a feel it and then download the pdfs via online.
