I've got a friend who is also formerly of the Joy of Satan and I sent her this site... She finds it very interesting and I'm certain I could get her to join with a few good words and a little nudging. But what I want to know is, do we do that?

Get detailed with what you've tried, what you've experienced, what you've verified for yourself. If you haven't made any progress worth sharing, then maybe you aren't practicing self-remembering or separating from yourself or non-identification correctly?

Well I've tried separating from my self through a variety of venues to be honest, but I do believe you are correct in asserting that I should try some of the methods you've outlined. Thank you for this wisdom High Priest Satanis and I'll review my options shortly. You'll have to forgive me at this very moment as I'm in the middle of college finals and that can get dicey you understand.
As for the work I've discussed above, she's still not absolutely sure, so I believe I should lay off for at least a little while. Which is fine for I'm rather busy right now for obvious reasons.

How many people of intellect have you met that you'll never see again? How many have you passed on the street that you'll never meet again? The house party convo(for the millionth time lol), the public library convo, the girl in the elevator convo. Shit! sitting in the police station convo lol.
All these people gone! Just more faces that will disappear into your dreams with time. Moments for your mind to deem unworthy & delete.
Those days are over.
All those people are not just passing faces anymore. They are potential sleepers who could awaken. People who could join with us. People with no guidance & direction for awakening. Brothers & sisters of ours locked in a dead end reality. What options do they have is the greatest question of all. Can we really look at them the same when we realize their slim possibilities.
We are the greatest collection of minds for their awakening. We cant let them drift by anymore.
Im sorry I used your post for my out burst fonetik2003. I just feel that call to awaken & think about all the places Ive been & people Ive met that will waste their lives following a dead end dream, because they have no other dream. And you look at it with a sorta angst, a rage; because we once followed that same dream.
Bring the public to us.
Society & their Gods offer them nothing. At least nothing that will last.

Just let her to go her natural pace re :COC if she doesn't immediately join up let her be and giveher space, in time she will swing back towards COC if she feels the calling strongly enough. If she asks you questions then answer the best of your ability and be truthful about your gaps of knowledge and where you are as an occultist and when explaining try to refer to relevant material so she can go find out for herself.
I have two friends who is non occultist but come from a line of witches, they are both non practising and in order to stoke their curiosity I ask them permission if I could add them to my occult facebook account so they could get a glimpse of my occult path and what the occult is all about. I have taken baby steps with one of them as she is very receptive to the occult path and I have had many talks with her before I moved cities and she often checks that account.
Be careful brother how you go about stuff like this as I have damaged people and lost people and vice verca due to not heeding the above statement when I was younger.

I find it a warning as I would not want to lose her as a friend, and so I've stopped referring her altogether. At least for now. Btw, she got a bad vibe from our beloved master. Absolutely brother. One of the great things about this site is the ability to remain anonymous. We have a lot of people here for an array of reasons, Cthulhu fans, HPLovecraft fans, Fourth Way practitioners, survivalists, philosopher's. All sorts are here for one reason or another. No one has to speak up if they don't want to. They can relegate them selves to what ever part of the Cult they desire. And this is whats so fantastic about it.
I my self love the aspect of it as a belief. I love that I can delve into how Cthulhu & the Mythos relate to my own primal,darkside & such. But that's because Im interested in the personality, Psychology & purpose of man. I like a little bit of destiny, but not much. Chaos is to important.
I just don't see another option for people when it comes to enlightenment.
A:O & Cthulhu Mythos aside...I definitely got more than I bargained for joining this group.

Ditto and I always am careful to be careful to what I want as I always get it but not in the way I expect it to manifest. I was wanting to join a boot camp to test myself self however I didn't expect COC to be that boot camp. I have discovered when stuff like this happens, it is also a way my magick works for me. At the moment I am highly amused at the situation and taking it in my stride instead of kicking myself. Belief Is Reality Loki Dreaming |
