This study outlines Left Hand Path goals which the Cult of Cthulhu has long observed. Hundreds of Left Hand Path groups and practitioners were scrutinized, evaluated, and modeled based upon not only the quantity but also the quality of what they manifested, as well as, their intended influence on consensual reality. So far as we can determine, such objectives proceed along three distinct lines: Individual, Organizational, and as a Species with each line giving aid to the others. For instance, an individual pursuing the Fourth Way taught by Gurdjieff and Ouspensky builds upon an organization choosing a certain aim to focus on which then builds upon the Left Hand Path as a race acquiring more power.
I. Autonomy
a. Coherency – Cooperation and coordination within the LHP. Finding commonalities among the various branches.
b. Representation – Being represented in politics and society so that our voice can be heard.
c. Awareness – Promotion and education of what the LHP is about and the importance of our struggle.
II. Power
a. Assessment – Take a look at your available resources and potential. What is the situation at the moment?
b. Aim – Choose a particular intent, a specific attainable goal.
c. Opportunity – Cultivate the opportunities surrounding you in order to acquire more power.
III. Self-Deification
a. Consciousness – Achieving higher states of consciousness; Awakening according to the 4th Way.
b. Evolution – Willed development that creates positive changes.
c. Paradigm Shift – Altering reality to suit the LHP.
Self Improvement by the daily effort of incremental progression
In other words, do a little bit every day in order to manifest result seeds. Every week provides a substantive outcome or breakthrough until small results every month become measureable progress each year in every category. Because pursuing all seven of the following might be too much to keep up with every single day (though the LHP practitioner is encouraged to try) efforts have been broken down into attainable weekly benchmarks that one can most assuredly strive for. Please note that some of the following aspects involve a process which cannot be completed within a week. If sufficient efforts are made, then the fruits of one’s labor shall be realized. The Cthulhu Cult recommends following this methodology of self-improvement, borne of successful individuals throughout the world since the dawn of man.
1. Physical – weekly full body workout with weight training, cardio, and a healthy protein-rich diet.
2. Intellectual – weekly information gathering, lively discussion, and philosophical considerations.
3. Emotional – weekly development of healthy personal relationships.
4. Artistic – weekly creation of art… a story, poem, chapter, painting, drawing, sculpture, piece of music, essay, article, video, photo, etc.
5. Sexual – weekly sexual gratification and fetish exploration.
6. Spiritual – weekly meditation, prayer, or communion with a higher source.
7. Material – weekly acquiring of wealth and/or possessions.
This is what we have observed in our interactions with individual and organizational participants in the Sinister Way. It indicates a greater coordination and movement towards unification amongst persons and organizations who view themselves as part of the Left Hand Path. One thing we’ve discovered is that the LHP does not favor a certain set of religious beliefs, the practice of magic, or ideology. This dark pursuit of ours is accessible, permissive, and expansive… up to a certain point, of course. That is why this document encourages those who qualify as Left Hand Path practitioners to consider themselves kindred blood.
It is hoped that tangible results will come from the crystallized formation of goals. Those who wish to use this as a model of personal responsibility are welcome to go forth into the night with our findings. Chaos, disorder, and disarray might be workable, or even fruitful, in the early stages of a burgeoning movement; however, once a current rapidly starts flowing it takes a certain amount of order to realize all the things of which we have dreamt.
Autonomy, Power, Self-Deification… this triumvirate of ambition is an outright blasphemy to the right hand path. Our laughter in the face of slavery only creates indignation in the peasantry, but don’t we, the noble minority, also wish to instill a healthy dose of fear in the rabble opposing us? And think of all the people in the world who have no idea what the Left Hand Path is! How many potential practitioners would be on our side if only we allowed ourselves to be recognized? Each baleful individual and each shadowy group is part of a greater whole… a vast network of philosophical and/or spiritual dissenters who see the need for evolution. The Cult of Cthulhu is prepared to adopt these criteria because launching a major offensive without some kind of plan is the height of stupidity. We attack consensual reality at every moment; not just as Cultists but as members of the Left Hand Path! Of course, if you choose to create your own particular goals for the Sinister Way, more power to you.

Excellent reference material to come back to and check that one is on the right track.
I'm glad the Priesthood has made this study available. Now that I can see something tangible I know what to focus on and where to spend my time so it benefits each area of my life. I definitely have been lacking in a few areas. The exercise part especially. After reading this and letting it sink in over the last few days I know what I have to do. I've already begun to start cardio training and light weight lifting. The increase in energy has been apparent in just a couple of days. Also, a lessening of physical pain from standing on my feet all day working has been observed which is great motivation to continue.
These weekly attainable benchmarks are realistic and will build upon themselves. Once again to The Priesthood, this is awesome material!

Once again you deserve a standing ovation and many bravos for this piece. I know exactly what you mean about finding yourself surrounded by sleepers. I myself am constantly seeing those , who think they know so much more than everyone else, making unbelievably stupid mistakes that ruin their lives forever because they aren't willing to actually SEE what is going on. They pride themselves on taking actions that they think will better their lives, yet they wind up homeless or in poor health because they did things THEIR way. Awake! |

I'm afraid the problem is that such piece only resonate within those who are already at least partially awake.
How to convince others to awake ? Great question... In my experience it was the lecture of 'Cthulhu Cult', so incredibly blasphemous that the shock opened my eyes, but analyzing myself, probably because I was already ripe for a change.

Encompassing and inspirational as always Master Satanis. This latest piece has reminded me how all too easy it is to drift off back to sleep. It reminded me of the need to view reality from multiple levels and let go of the useless parts of myself that hold me back. As old habits were threatening development of my own potential as of late, I like to view this as a call to Awaken and cast of the useless, lower aspects of my being and focus on the constructive, useful, thoughtful and conscious facets.

Master Satanis, The above could not have come at a better time. I won't have a lot of playtime beginning now. I will be involved in productive and meaningful activity daily. In addition a diary will help me monitor progress,adjust activity and times so I get maximum results. Thank you.

Master Satanis, I must say that putting so much info on these posts is awesome. It shows that you must care about each in everyone of us. Want us to be the best we can be. Most of left hand paths and various groups, including satanism often shy away from posts. The time spent online, they say(satanists) should be spent doing your rituals. I must say i always agreed with that, until now. You have so much info, that it would be a waste not to partake in this posts. Kudos to you Master Satanis!!!!!!! I live here in the bible belt, and have been a Cultist for many years now, I have my share fair of personal problems, but I noticed even though I'm still asleep at times the Christians who preach against me are in a deep slumber. They try so hard to be better than everyone else and put you down even if you believe that Jehova does not exist. But The things I see are that they have more problems with there faith than anyone else, and bad things happen all the time. For example my boss kept saying that I'm going to burn in hell for believing in what I do, And I said That at least I'm not a slave to the religious conformity that you fellow christians are involved in. I said Your asleep you need to wake up, then a week later his brother died and All I could see was this devout man sobbing too his god that his brother is gone, and say that he's still such a great lord, I was like you are so asleep, If it was my family member I would climb up to heaven and kick God's ass. We need to awake Brothers and sisters.

As one who is striving to be as self-aware as possible, I must say I believe that others such as I who feel the urge to awaken (already ripe for a change, indeed) will find inspiration in this essay. Pursuing those who are afraid or averse to awakening is, in my mind, a waste of time that would be better spent on one's own development. But Master Satanis's tendency to simply make his doctrine available to those who can appreciate it is quite effective. If much persuasion is necessary, the subject probably isn't ready. But absolutely, this is excellent material. It reminds me of Gary Snyder's title poem Riprap. A riprap is a cobble of rough stones poured over a slick surface (like a steep marble incline) to make it easier for hikers to climb over. Snyder likened his poetry to a riprap; it helped others going the same way he had gone. It gave them a solid footing in difficult territory. Master Satanis cannot climb the mountain for us; we must do this ourselves. But what he can do is dump useful concepts like a pile of stones over the edge which may give us more steady footing than he himself had. Our pursuit of the Work is easier (I didn't say easy) thanks to his efforts. One of the dangers of esoteric schools is for initiates to focus too much on the stones themselves and ignore their purpose as steps to a higher level. Remember your final aim; do not get too attached to the path there. No man may cometh unto Yog-Sothoth, but by him. |

Very well put. Master Satanis has guided they way for us, but yes we must climb the mountain ourself. I'm new to the fourth way and have both the power of now, and the fourth way on the way. I'm curious to see how it affects me and my posts. I have a feeling it'll have a very profound on me as a person and on my posts also. People like yourself who are obviously more advance than myself, provide inspiration for myself to learn as much as possible. Thanks for your posts, as well as all the others. Observing from the bottom of the pyramid, you have given me a great foundation to build from. This Cult of Cthulhu gives sensible attainable directions, goals, and outlines. That is something I can work with, when it is sensible and attainable based off of my goals set in each category and my efforts to pursue them. It is almost like saying to myself how bad do I want this, how bad do I want to wake up. I noticed that there is a constant ( in the work ) of increments, a reminder that change comes about slowly, and you have removed the negativity. Here within the CoC, I also get a lesson that is not some outrageous secret unattainable goal. This Cult of Cthulhu is a school, a 4th way school in the Left hand path tradition, I am just simply amazed by the vast knowledge of the priest and members here. It is just simply amazing, sensible directions and guidelines to attain goals based on organizational and individual benchmarks. Proud to be among cultist where I can actually learn and attain desirable results without anyone saying I have to jump over the moon to get there, I like this, goals achieved based off of individual effort learned from the cultist here in the school. Spectacular Lord Satanis. We are definitely at war with the droning sound of societies wheels. Sad how easy it is to be caught up in the race. The race to know where.
I think us cultists are plagued/blessed with that urge to not waste time. Each day we should try to grasp the moment & see what we can see.
So this is a good thing to go over every day. Ill be printing this out.
