COC and its members,
I would like some feedback on what you think about the NORSE GOD LOKI* as I would like a occult/satanic view point on this.
*Yes, I know he isn't technically related to the NORSE GODS and blah blah, blah!!!

Trickery, is often seen as an evil, one that is at times necessary. Loki is renowned for his trickster personality, as a deceiver of reality. Any thoughts about the way he was conveyed in the comics, and in turn the movie THOR? His actions were compelled by deep-seated psychological issues, an inner alienation. And what did he gain?

Loki is a trickster God,but he does what he does not out of any satanic reason or even any loopy problem in the head, but to show the Gods even they are not above change and fate. Now the modern Odinist, etc that have not purged them selves of Chrisitanity will wrongly equate him with Satan though.

Cheers for the responses so far,
I ask this (for a second opinion) as I needed to see if I was going bonkers.
Some explanation on my part, I also consider myself a Asatru&Heathen and I always had an ifinity with Loki hence of magickal name.
I have dsicovered people like me are Lokeans:- Honouring (not worshipping as the Asatru/Heathen community like to see it).
Most of that community see Loki as a outcast and EVIL!!!
I shall be writing a essay on Loki sometime in the future and have started a poem called Loki (Just Like Me).
Belief IS Reality Loki Dreaming
ps:- No i did not jump on the band wagon due to the lastest trends in audio visual mediums, I have always had a fascination with Norse Mythology and Loki since I was a kid.

Loki is a very misunderstood god, his trickery often seems to have negative results at first but it always turns out for the best. Even the death of Baldur is a good thing for he is with Hel during the last battle and therefore is not destroyed.

If you view Loki from a Thursatru point of view, he is the exact same as Lucifer, just another deific mask for him. I view him as a Muspell-Thurs, and never was an Ass at all, him and Surtr stand together as Cause and Effect for the progression of Ragnarok and the coming of Kaos.

I had an mp3 of someone singing a song about loki, I can't remember where I got it, but it was ages ago and it's always stayed with me. It went something like this.
"I was born in battlespire and raised beside my mothers corpse my toys the ravens of the field my lullabies the screams of whores
but when that storm god you all praise rocks the earth and shatters trees you huddle close beside my gift and whisper prayers beside my spit and as the wood-smoke turns and twists you owe your lives to sly loki
odin saw me on the field and recognised his bastard son there he claimed me for his own heir to all that he had won
but when that storm god you all praise rocks the earth and shatters trees you huddle close beside my gift and whisper prayers beside my spit and as the wood-smoke turns and twists you owe your lives to sly loki
what is the honor they give me? denied a seat in odins hall forbidden fruit from idunn's tree and cast outside of asgards walls
but when that storm god you all praise rocks the earth and shatters trees you huddle close beside my gift and whisper prayers beside my spit and as the wood-smoke turns and twists you owe your lives to sly loki
there were a few more verses but that's about all I can remember, I'm not sure if I could find it again, but i really liked it, and i still hum it to myself in the mornings when it frosts.
