I was just thinking. As our dread lord Cthulu slumbers, so do we. Is this perhaps a representation of our state in the world? When and if we awaken, does Cthulu become closer to being awake himself? I just thought about it and found it as an interesting parallel is all, and I'd like comments on these matters...

Very good analogy and I suppose this is a reason one may see the Cult beliefs as a symbolic work of fiction. The Drowned Lord Cthulhu in his underwater prison representative of each of us in our sleeplike slumber. One can view this as being their innermost self. Finally Awakening, Cthulhu/The individual's essence breaks free from his prison and attains the purifying Objective Consciousness and perspective. Becoming a beacon of truth in the world, affecting all those who come into contact with them. By his loathsome tentacles! Dark Prism |
