Awesome work, Jason. I just put two of your BDSM art pieces in my ritual room.
Been meaning to ask, what kind of pen/marker and drawing surface did you use? Any advice for someone wanting to do Cthulhu Mythos drawings in this type of style?
BTW, did you change up your blog? Tried to post, but had the same problem as a couple months ago. It asks for a specific type of ID which I don't have/use.

Thanks. For these kinds of illustrations, I generally use Bristol Board as my surface. I prefer to use Micron pens to ink the drawings (08 being my favored diameter because it is about the same size as the most common tattoo needle I use in tattoo designs). For larger black spaces, I use a Sharpee marker. For even LARGER black spaces, I use a brush and India Ink. India Ink can be watered down and brushed on for ink-pieces where you want to have some gray-tones. Generally, the pieces are scanned into a digital-file, then cleaned up in Photoshop. I prefer the hard contrast for my BDSM illustrations, and use Photoshop to color my graphics for merchandising (moichendizing!). For my painting, which you will see more of this summer, I prefer to use heavy cold-pressed illustration boards. I tape the boards down to foam-boards, and mask-off the edge of the board about 1/2 inch in. Taping down the board helps prevent buckling as the board gets wet. I gesso the boards (apply several coats of watered-down white acrylic) to get a more 'true' white background. I then use a mix of ink, water-color, acrylic, and airbrush paints. I corrected the issue with the blog. Yes, I did change it up, part of the purging of Ego Diabolus thing.

Very nice bdsm art. I think I'm going to have my arse branded. Anyone up for it?

Wha? Not a single interrogation pic? No electricity? *sad face* Disappointed. Great artwork though Jason, I can see the graphic Novel in my head. I'm a fan of being interrogated, especially by a man in full Nazi Regalia - I hardly break. They typically have to amp it up to dangerous levels. You Can't Break Meeeeee! Ha ha. For my Seven Deadly SIN's party last weekend (Greed), we did violet wand/rope play and since it was one of my grotto member's birthday - I was the gift. The entire party zapped me into oblivion. It was great. Wish I had gotten more photos, the photographer was a no show and I was too preoccupied to be popping off shots. Feel free to use any of these for sketching Jason. Your work is really good!

Yes, those should make some very good sketch work. I hope J will incorporate it in his work.
