Khadhulhu is also one of the names of Shaitan in the Quran. In some forms of klippothic Kabbalah, Chadel/Chedel is one of the Klippoth of water/land mixed. Chadel being the hebrew form of Khadhulu. In Isaiah it is said "I shall look upon man no more among the inhabitants of Chadhel." (Isaiah 38:11). This word became synonymous with Sheol or Hell, but in our case it could be rendered "I shall look upon man no more than the followers of Cthulhu".

I made a similar correlation years ago, I find the Qur'an to have so much profound knowledge hidden in its texts (I consider it an occult work, such as that of the Hebrew and Christian Bibles). There are several versus, that sound as if Azathoth authored them itself!

Have you ever heard of the Satanic Verses? Supposedly Shaitan had tricked Muhammad into believing he was Gabriel or he had become possessed and the following "satanic" verses were said aloud after verses 19-20....
Have ye thought upon Al-Lat and Al-‘Uzzá and Manāt, the third, the other? These are the exalted gharāniq, whose intercession is hoped for.
Sounds Occult like to me.

I have, and its merely a legend, but fun to believe in for all intensive purposes!

The book was a little confusing, but interesting nonetheless...
