the phrase "in his house", when i first heard it, struck something inside of me, bothered me in an intellectual puzzle kind of way, and i didnt know why till i remembered the show carnivale, which was about the avatars of darkness and light in a confrontation. one of the phrases repeated quite a bit was "every prophet in his house", which was cryptic, and never fully explained. i was curious if there was a deeper, esoteric meaning to the use of "house" in the phrases being used. the goat in the woods with a thousand young seems to point to the pan-type figure in satanism who was the prototype of satan {believe i read lovecraft was influenced by margeret murrays "god of the witches"}

sorry, it was "The Witch Cult in Western Europe", not "god of the witches"
