Here's a view of somethings it has & will do:
This is to boost the presidents approval rating since were headed into 2012.
This takes attention off of our involvement in the middle East after ten years & having really nothing to show for it.
It's a great time to validate all the fear & alertness the government demanded from us back then by allowing "revenge attacks" to now start happening (a little conspiracy theory entertainment for you lol). This is just a few things.

Our government needs to justify all the shit were pulling over there, so this is a great reminder.
