hi, i just joined, ive read both bibles and quite a bit of the material on here, had a few questions {im always asking questions, feel free to answer or ignore them haha} 1. how does the CoC stand with other lovecraft inspired satanic groups, such as the ONA and satanic Reds as far as their interpretation of the Old Ones, and the rituals used to "open doorways" {ive read codex saurus, and have Naos coming soon}? 2. more importantly, the Formless Dark Essence, do you see this as part of everything, the Tao, part of the space in front of us and creator of the physical universe, inhabitating it{like the Force}, or do you see it as a creator that stepped aside afterwards, residing in a far-away place?

We have to stand on our own three tentacles. The Cult of Cthulhu is doing its own thing and in its own way. We are dependent on nothing but the emerald paradigm that I created and several CoC members have influenced, as well as, perpetuate.
Neither. What you describe is what I usually refer to as either the lesser gods of the earth or the demiurge. Although, to clarify, I don't believe that either side is everything or the all or Absolute / Ray of Creation.
The Formless Black Essence is basically a gestalt of every entity, force, and deity which relates to the Left Hand Path. The FBE came first and then various individuals and cultures personified aspects of the FBE in their own way... which is how we get Satan, Set, Lucifer, Kali, Loki/Odin, Yog-Sothoth, etc.
Does that make sense?

very well, thank you. and it does make more sense, if contact is to be made, someone who has evolved would have a better chance than finding a specific ritual, which is what most of theistic satanism is today.
