Really? Evangelical Christian politicians? Good God, what's next!?!news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_alabama_governor_christiansHoly shit! How far will this go? Not sure if anyone else noticed this, but they combined religion with ethnicity in order to fully make their case for non-Christians feeling threatened by Alabama Governor Robert Bentley's remarks. Is that because ordinary white American people who despise contemporary Christianity don't have a prayer in Hell's chance of being heard?
Perhaps such extremes can be used to swing the pendulum back the other way? Lovecraftian Theocracy! Let's get this party started...

Lol. That's like a certain commercial for a local attorney in Houston who makes a point in the commercial to stress that he is a Christian. Now that alone would make me run like hell and find a different attorney! I have found that people who stress being Christians are some of the biggest damn crooks around! Awake!

We always love it when someone in power says what we want to hear or what we want to say. Makes us feel like were not so small. The idea is that the Holy ghost himself will now be present in the governors office lol.
The more politicians that use this technique will only be paving the way for others to do the same. Cult Rep?

I must say, having lived in Alabama for 9 years this doesn't surprise me at all. I can't even begin to fully explain the abundance of ignorance that can be found in that state and other places of the bible belt. One of the reasons I was so determined to leave Alabama was in fact because it was such a haven for Southern Baptists, judgmental, narrow-minded sheep who couldn't come up with an original though if they tried. Yes, I'm just a little bitter, haha. The town over from me was completely controlled by one of the largest churches I have ever seen before with my own eyes. There are two campuses that hold in attendance 2,500+ people each. The church ( www.gfbconline.com) is right across the street from the High School, which they paid to have the entire high school rebuilt (it's massive and looks like a college campus). The graduation ceremonies for the High School take place at the church and more than one time they have had prayer in school. Consequentially, I ended up dropping out of high school my senior year due to the atmosphere. Anyway, I believe I'm starting to rant. Just wanted to give you an idea of what it's like in one of the more LIBERAL counties in Alabama. Oh and for another example. Anyone remember this? Awake!
