I only read what feels right to me. I think its simply horribal when i try to read something for fun if i dont like the topic. The range of my reading time its always different dependant on the current book im reading. As for inspiring leaders...Hitler. Ia Ia Cthulhu fhtagn!

If the first three pages or so do not "grab" my attention, then there is usually nothing there for me. But I try to at least "scan read" the first chapter. Awake!

What type of books do you own? How many hours in a week is devoted to reading? Do believe a person should be well versed in all kinds of different subject matter, and not just what a person narrowly is most interested in? What leaders inspire you most? Are you following the example of learning everything you can about all sorts of different fields, to one day prepare to be a better leader on a larger stage? awake. Actually my range of reading usually spans biology, some genetics, LHP, psychology and self-sufficiency, that is all the non-fiction. As far as fiction goes, I like some vampire books but mainly prefer genetic mutation type thrillers. How many books do I own? If you count e-books, which is about all I have room for in this rv that I live in, I own around a thousand. Awake!

I need to up grade my library. Miss all the books I used to have. I like history & astronomy. Splice is good. A little slow through the first half, but pays off in the end.
As for leaders I like? Well there's the real & fantasy ones. For fantasy I like Tyler Derden. I once dreamed I was the ruler of an apocalypse L.A. I had over run the city with my mutants from under the city streets( The Crazies from "Escape from New York"). I watched as the city burned & felt joy. I had billboards of my smiling face erected all over town that said"Welcome". Real would be Eric the Viking or Vercingetorix. I like enemies of civilization. Especially powerful civilizations like Rome.
As for learning from them? Id just like to live in their time more than anything.
Awake!

Hitler, for all his faults, was quite inspiring. I like his "Triumph of Will" speech. Even if it was reminiscent of Kaiser Wilhelm.

Despite Hitler's Genocidal methods he was brilliant in obtaining power and smart as hell in politics but stupid however in Military leadership. AWAKE!
