Me and a friend of mine are still having this debate. Precisely what defines good and evil? I've always argued that they are man-made concepts and that the gods are above such simplistic (and fatally human) ideas. Give me a few more thoughts on this please!

You know? After I had my last cigarette, cleansed my aura, and brushed my teeth last night, I had a profound thought. (I was getting ready for bed obviously) Darth Vader wanted to unify the galaxy and have everyone there work towards a common goal. That in itself, could not be considered overtly evil. However, he blew up a defenseless planet with no weapons and killed a whole lot of people in order to do it. Do the ends always justify the means?
Many say that I am a bad man who does things that are not correct to do! To them, I will say that I am nice man with happy feelings! Evil Betty Kung Pow: Enter the Fist aka the best movie ever made (to kill brain cells)

We'll I Guess You Could Say That A God Is Defined As Good Or Evil By Their Actions, But I Don't Think That The "Good And Evil" Concept Fits The Universe. If A God Like Satan Was (And Is) Defined As "Evil" As In My Opinion This Weakens And Is Below A God. As For Satan And Cthulhu I Like To Think They They Both Are Above This Concept And Do As They Please As Their Actions Advance Their Goals Whether It Be Good Or Bad.

The concept of good and evil, right or wrong can be defined as "what the individual feels is right to do."
Normal for instance is decided by many as being: "What everybody is doing."

I agree evil & good are in each individuals concept, though i believe we should try to break away from that ourselves. If society as a whole proceeded more logically than emotionally we would probably be in a much better place.

Precisly if we all acted toward more logic and reason then we would be better off in a smarter society. Thats what we all as a whole are trying to acheive but we must try to turn as many as we can towards this belief before the Emerald Kingdom arrives! AWAKE!

Hmmm... Expand my research I must! (Because I'm now a little green dude apparently!)
Anyway, even those who reject moral relativism (seemingly) do follow THEIR OWN moral codes. As such, they are all hypocrites! You cannot reject this simple fact of life as we all have our respective codes which we follow. As for good and evil, I'm starting to believe that you are correct as gods are not and cannot be bound by such ideals. To say one god is absolutely good or evil is preposterous. They say Jehova was all good, yet I've studied the old testament and in my own opinion, he was a pretty evil dude! As such, I now feel it necessary to distance myself from such simplistic concepts and to carve out my own path. There are many ways that I could do this and the choice is mine. Maybe I should just try one approach and evaluate the aftermath?

The definition of good or Evil depends upon the individual who is perceiving it. Yet there is this pure truth which most call Evil, due to their lack of understanding something which is not veiled to cover up the potentially depressive impact of the true understanding and perception of it. There is also the things which are said to be "good" which are not good for those who are not of the same mindset, or absolutely just not like them. These so-called good things may actually be completely wrong for the certain individual involved. Words and opinions of the masses are insignificant to finding out the truth about things, when the certain truth is what you seek. One must find their own definition of good or Evil, which some aspects of, might change from time to time, depending upon the situation at a time. Though some things never change, certain if they are chosen to be the ultimate certainty of the path which you seek to, and/or tread.
