This is a story that deserves our attention, and not just the Cult of Cthulhu but all Americans.

When The Council for American-Islamic Relations can demand the termination of anyone with something controversial to say, I believe we have a problem. Shame on NPR for their cowardly appeasement. I'm all for being liberal, progressive, and inclusive, but I'm also for freedom... the freedom to have contrary thoughts, feelings, and actions about a subject without the fear of reprisal.
Feel free to post in this thread if you have something to say on the matter.

This is another example why we live in a prison like state. Everywhere you turn, you see something in the media about someone bashing on homosexuality, or getting in trouble about saying something that you believe in. This world, especialy America is getting to the point where we are going to have all our rights taken away. I believe that when it comes to people like us(CoC) and fellow left hand path followers, etc. These right winged fuckers will try and hunt us down, like the old witch hunts. But no matter what we need to stand our ground and fight for what we believe in.

What is very important for the public to understand is that we need people to speak there mind. It keeps us from feeling alone in our ideals. Just as it is as good to see our ideals challenged by its opponents.
When the media & other famous people that we see all lot or recognize aren't free to express them selves; it appears to us as if they don't care , or worse really dont have an opinion! Which I think breeds allot of extremism in certain people. People that are cut off or not properly socialized. Leaving them to feel as if there alone. This is not good.
Imagine if no one on television ever said anything politically incorrect. Never argued. Picture those smiling faces & stupid one liners they always use, while playing images of the horrific things that go on in the world behind them. Pretty disturbing. Like a montage of madness if you ask me.
So even if it appears as if its just a couple people arguing, there's at least some one out there saying "My god, I didnt know any one gave a shit". I think its important. Its important to some one. Wow! I felt like talking didn't I.
Hail Cthulhu!

America definitely has a problem, there is a silent war going on inside our own borders. If you cannot defeat the enemy without, you defeat him within, using that countries own laws, culture, etc, to strangle them. This country went back to sleep shortly after 9/11, not that it has ever been awake, but like individuals, America has probably had its moments of consciousness. This firing doesn't come as a surprise, PBS has been airing Muslim news and programs for sometime now, which is very suggestive and which I do believe is an indicator of things to come. This particular organization is hostile to western civilization, and in the Islamic world makes no quarrels about this. The showing in the west is a kinda, more gentler side, minus all the propaganda it shows in the east. May this world's believe in the lesser gods be doomed until the return of The Dreaded Ancient Ones, when true might shall make right! The Cult of Cthulhu shall never die!The God we worship is our future selves!

We must be aware of right, left, and center. In this instance, it wasn't the Republicans but the Democrats that seemed to bow down before Allah. Since every political party is operated by human beings, every political party is flawed, mechanical, and asleep.
Speaking one's mind is important. Controversy is important too, as is knowing that endless argument is only more smoke and mirrors. When news shows argue to draw an audience rather than to understand the issues and the opposing sides, then it is futile.
I heard something on the radio today about Juan Williams getting paid by Fox News for either that spot on Bill O'Reilly or maybe for a string of appearances... 2.5 million dollars. So, that just goes to show you can't trust or rely on anyone. Who knows what Williams' agenda was, what views were his own and what were engineered for profit? Ambition corrupts our species, illusion becomes reality, and we find the human machine tied to patterns which lead us away from the results that essence craves!
When a certain number of individuals within a specific area can rise to a higher level of consciousness, such an occurrence has an appreciable impact. However, all we can ever truly focus on is our own Awakening.

Also, when they throw these high profile people to the wolves like this. It starts its own separate dilemma thats awesome on its own. Other important stuff comes up. Like the guy has nothing to loose & exposes other things he would have other wise not been able to out of fear.

I have watched many episodes of the Factor (slow TV days make for that), and I find that for the most part, O'Reilly and his contributors are speaking for the current state of the public in America. Who isn't going to become scared when a Muslim man with a large bag who is acting funny goes through security and boards your plane? I know that I would be uncomfortable with that. As for NPR firing him, it was coming from a mile away, he was the ONLY conservative commentator on the network, and they were looking for a reason to sack him. And it's like everything else, money is the issue, by pleasing one group (Council for American-Islamic Relations) or another, NPR gets money, and they can take more to the bank.

I grew up wearing the standard black, goth out fits. Which even today draws suspicious looks. Sure it bothers me, but I understand.
Today when Im in a store & a kid/guy is wearing all black. Your God Damn right Im looking for the nearest weapon that I can take him down quick with. If he pulls a sword or gun I like being ready to hit him, or bolt. You cant change what people have done before you, so Im all right with being judged when I wear all black.
And if some one went on TV & commented on it, Id be the first to say "ya, always be ready". Fuck em.

I always smile at goths, or emos as they are called now, and nod my head or hell, sometimes I walk over and talk to them just to piss my old man off. Awake!

The Muslim community is going to have that stigma until some drastic change can alter that. Unfortunately for them, that is what happened when terrorists kill thousands of innocent people.

I think America is now suffering from a new social disease...Muslimphobia! This is a sad commentary for our country since Muslims were living here peacefully for so many years without anything being said. But one of the reasons that many come to this country for is the freedom of speech and , people, when we loose that or loose our jobs over it then it's time for some major changes in the system. Awake!

Well Boksmutanis, the internet is helping to alleviate that distance. I'm not gonna lie, I'm going to promptly play Mercenaries 2 on my Xbox when I'm done with this response. But for right now, I'm talking to you and addressing your concern. Bottom line, the internet definitely helps. But in all seriousness, I'm fairly certain we aren't the only people with this problem. As such, wouldn't it be more productive to find other groups with this concern? Maybe even form a coalition? I'm not saying that's what we should do here. I'm just putting it on the table as a possibility.
