Do you ever wonder when it comes to reality, and when you truly sit down and think about our dreams, that they our are reality, and our world right know as I'm talking is the real dream. What we call dreams I like to think of them as our real world where reality is not on lock down. This is where we can shoot fire balls travel to other places in a matter of seconds etc... Do you wonder about the people that you meet in these dreams think and ask why you disappear and come back. When you wake up in the morning, that is the beginning of our Prison. Then when the environment is calm we go back to our true reality. I think this is pretty crazy thinking but who said I was sane....I would like everyone to comment on this please....Awake From our Slumber...Awake.

There is a novel of Lovecraft, where an broke aristocratic old man is dreaming every night he is the king of a wonderful kingdom, one evening a group of beautiful knights come to take him to his kingdom to rule it for ever, and so he does, even if the body of a poor old man stay behind.
But it's dangerous for you to scorn or to ignore your prison ! Escape from it, rather : Awake !

Yes we must awake, You know I feel more awake when I'm dreaming then when I'm actually going through this slumberous world.

I have wondered this myself and even accepted that possibly our dreams is the true reality because it is within dreams that we find ourselves without limit as opposed to the reality we are constantly aware of as right now which DOES limit us! I also, being someone that tries to look at all angles, productive and unproductive, maybe we are really meant to simply use the reality we are aware of to our own benefits rather than letting it consume us whole!
Awake!

I once was talking with a group of 7 or 9 ascended masters in a dream. They were teaching me things about the universe & reality. I was holding one of there hands while they guided me through different realms, different times. As if it was all fluid & connected by that thin membrane.
Then I was being awoke by my girlfriend to do daytime crap:( each time she pushed me & each time she yelled for me to wake, I felt the masters trying to hold my hand tighter.
They said to me"stay with us & we can show you everything. All you ever dreamed of, all man could ever hope to know".
Angrily I had to succumb to reality. And all the joy it offers:(
Awake!

What's the point in mourning your waking shared reality? Why let it imprison you? Are you not better than that?
I used to enjoy being asleep rather than fully conscious until I realized that I can do whatever I truly want.

Lovecraft himself actually came up with a similar theory in "Beyond the Wall of Sleep," except this theory was that our dream-selves are our truer selves. While I personally don't know if Lovecraft (in secret) took his fiction literally or what, but still. I'm not a Cultist, though, but I can see why you guys think reality is a prison. In fact, I'm starting to agree that it is.

I always wonder how is it that every time I arrived at the so called good part of the dream or when my character is feeling comfort or distress, I always wake up, no matter what time of day or night it was, same with day dreaming. I have never had an another world experience, but I do believe it is quite possible to pick up influences from other stimuli. The only time I ever had any success with control of awareness, was my first so called "conscious" lucid dream, where I believe I was narrating the circumstances, but with no control over the outcome in the waking world. From the writing of Kenneth Grant and others, I had the impression, that the Great Prophet H. P. Lovecraft was under the influence of beings from universe B, therefore encoding with in his works the secrets of the Ancient Ones. I also do see interconnections with Lovecraftian stories and the fourth way theology. My modern day conclusion is dreams are just dreams unless influenced by stimuli from outside of normal comprehension. I would classify dream quest, visions, and revelations in a different category.

Belief is reality Talek Esoteric Herald of the Old Gods Cult of Cthulhu Every since I posted this reply, it has weighted heavily on my conscience. I kept going back and rereading my words, the weighting aspect of conscience is, I am wondering which I, of my many I's wrote that reply? Then I began to reflect and evaluate my relationship with the dream world. Had not dreaming and hearing the call actually brought me here to the Cult of Cthulhu. Was it not dreaming that the great Dreaming Prophet H P Lovecraft received his esoteric messages from the Ancient Ones. Could the dream world actually be reality? I had remembered that some Cultures such as the aborigines of Australia treated the Dream World just as real as their waking life. I like to mention my ancestors because this is just my personal belief, but I think alot of what we are generates from our ancestral DNA, written on our genome. My ancestors before the pre-christian era, view and lived the dreaming life as real and common to their world, as coke or pepsi is to ours, no separation, and here on my before hand post, I had stated that dreaming was just dreaming, why did I write this? Only conclusion of self reflection, is that the mechanical adversarial part of me likes to rule and keep me sleeping in my own waking sleep world. So in view of this I have decided to keep a dream journey and set up a study into my dream world, encompassing astral projection, lucid dreaming, etc. I think I will work on this side, as part of my eldritch sorcery. I am very interested in seeing what the results of my study will be and where it will take me in relation to the Ancient Ones and the Cthulhu Cult. Hail to the Ancient Ones and the Great Prophet of Dreaming H. P. Lovecraft. Remember yourself, for the Emerald Kingdom is at hand Talek Esoteric Herald of the Old Gods Cult of Cthulhu
