www.blogtalkradio.com/theooze/2009/12/12/the-work"12/12/2009 1:00 PM - 1 hr Description: h:84128 s:818401 G.I. Gurdjieff described his approach to self-development as a Fourth Way. Opposing the three eastern teachings that emphasize the development of the body, mind, or the emotions separately, Gurdjieff's system worked on all three at the same time to promote comprehensive and balanced inner development. Ouspensky (a student of Gurdjieff) coined the term and used it in his teachings based on Gurdjieff's ideas. We are all asleep... I do agree that The Fourth Way, is vital to the cult. I have always said, that consciousness is the foundation of the theology, and it's proven useful thus far. For myself, and working with others.

The goal of humanity, is to give off energy? I can't say I agree with that, but it's an interesting theory.

As far as the universe is concerned, all life was created to receive and transmit energy. The most vibrant, nourishing energy is released through suffering.
On the other hand, we can have our own goals. However, it's difficult if not impossible to do anything while asleep.
Yes, those are my theories.

I understand these are your personal theories, while interesting I can't say I agree.
This suggests you *know* the intentionality of the universe. As well, as the pre-determined *purpose* of humanity.
I strongly disagree, but in lieu of creating your own paradigm shifts and realities - sure, why not.

These ideas make sense to me and are internally consistent; whereas I haven't found anything else that can account for our situation.
You and others reading this post may find it interesting to know that I came up with this paradigm as a gradual process culminating in the Cult's conception, summer 2004. Then, a year or two later I read a nearly identical interpretation in my Fourth Way research (specifically Psychological Commentaries on the Teaching of Gurdjieff and Ouspensky by Maurice Nicoll volumes I - V). Seeing such esoteric theories align solidified my belief for all time.
Additionally, when Puck was here (he's taking time off) he told me there were ideas I presented in Cthulhu Cult which resembled other magical and religious belief systems I wasn't even aware of. And yes, it does suggest that I know the intentionality of the universe, as well as, the predetermined purpose of humanity. I'm also aware of a possible escape plan, engineered by the Ancient Ones, which is in keeping with our true destiny.

I'd chalk it up to past orthodoxy, we just run out of ideas as a species so you see common themes throughout human history. This is most prevalent in world religions. Though, I understand what drives your ideas, I maintain my own.
I think the series 'Stargate', specifically 'Stargate Universe' puts these ideas into visual representations and clearly demonstrates man's desire to understand the intentionality of what they call 'The Ancients'.
Again, this is your personal paradigm and I can't help but identify a plethora of ideas that aren't uniquely new but how you string them all together is what interests me most.

Yesterday i listened to this here episode of The Ooze and also some other ones, while i was making art. It was an excellent soundtrack. Great job. I must look into catching a show live.
Is there something like a chat/im for the show? Im thinking how one can get something through to the show maybe even while its live.
Maybe messaging Vengers myspace? Or Beast Xeno?
I think its a great fucking show. This episode was great and the Chariot of the Gods episode was really good as well. Hail The Ooze!
I salute the honorable hosts of the show and the always great Cora Sahn.

Ready? What's to get ready for? I make all my gifts, so I do that months in advance. A little minor shopping for my kid, and turkey dinner on the table on Friday. That's about as ready as I get :-) I'm gearing up for my birthday on the 3rd! Woot.
Oh thanks, yeah I sound weird and booming loud. lol
I did some more poetry recordings, did you ever do anything with the others I sent you?
