I got The 4th Way today. I've only read the first few pages, and I have to say it is not stale or boring at all. The language is very down to earth. I'm wondering if there is any connection to this Philosophy and the obscure cult that Rasputin was rumored to belong to. It doesn't really matter, just wondering if anyone else had thought that?

Can't say as I know FOR SURE if there was any connection between Rasputin and the fourth way,but I would tend to doubt it.Gurdjieff reportedly didn't have kind words to say about him(rasputin). As far as to the cult Rasputin was susposed to belong to,some people have thought he was a member of 'the khlysts',which was some kind of underground sect of the russian orthodox church. This has been discredited by most historians. The Many Biographies I've seen about him mention some kind of sect though.Rasputin is an interesting figure, from a HISTORICAL context, but from an philosophical context,I don't know if I take anything said or written about him seriously.

Definately, I love history, it's like a great mystery. Shit, am I rhyming again?
