Here is a blog post about Lovecraft which i enjoyed reading a few days ago. It was posted by Fr. PIEO on the Cthulhu NING site. Here is the blog post Lovecraft, Magick and His Eldritch ...Creations?cultofcthulhu.ning.com/profiles/blogs/lovecraft-magick-and-hisAnd here is [glow=red,2,300]Cthulhu NING[/glow]cultofcthulhu.ning.com/IA! IA! KTULU FTAGN!IA! HPL!About the word mare...... The word mare has and can be used to describe a female demon who rides you at night (EDIT, WHILE YOU SLEEP that is, lol), giving you awful and horrible dreams, hence your word "night-mare", on danish the word is "Mareridt" meaning "mare-ridden". That was a bit of danish superstition for you, The danish word for superstition is "overtro" meaning "over-faith". I'll stop now. ;D
