Poisonous work envoronment

As I have just aquired a female child I have come to ponder what I shall teach her about life. I tell everyone that they should write her a book on the way she should live and those things to do and not do.

This brings to light many different aspects of reality since it is a very large experience full of drama and mis communication.

At work and in all parts of my life I find most pointedly the difference between myself and others ability to LISTEN and reply with the proper information without offense or emotional attachment.

So much of life is spent trying to get people to just get along, to get fools to be distracted with something that keeps them from eachothers throats.

In my job, as with most functioning organization there is a boss, a boss under him, and workers of various experience. A poisonous working environment comes when a worker of vast experience is not in charge and holds a negative assertion over the boss and or his second man, creating a cell against them within the others.

Dissent against anything from the largest to the smallest, inaction, pretending to not comprehend, hesitation and blatant actions given priority over that of the master craftsman are common.

These same rules apply to all life. Think about your day and look to see who is making everything smoother for those in charge. Tho i disagree with my master craftsman quite often in those orders and actions he undertakes I do obey because he is the established power and assisting him moves the job to completion much quicker than with me giving my own ideas.

To fight this man at any time is a waste, but sometimes he will ask my advice, and by my prior acceptance and silence his ears become within those moments the most open and reasonable ears. These moments are those that every person should wait for.

Within your desire to spread this faith and understanding that we here share, there is a key that will unlock any door barring you from anyone. With your silence and assistance, at some point, the perfect point, the space will come for you to tell them, for you to guide them and until that point only impatience retards your progression towards total dominance.

Funny enough i was just talking about that today, my negative stance being that it was a lost cause to bring children into the world today because there is no longer any places left to hide, and so my children would either end up being indoctrinated into the brainwashed zombie society of today or being put away. Mental shackles or physical ones, either way they are trapped. There is no place to hide.

This is of course my negative stance. My positive stance is that nothing is a lost cause.

I havent raised a child, but i think that it is a 50/50 line between good planing/contemplation and just jumping out there and doing ones best. There are always going to be problems so it is a live job, one can not plan ones way out of it, but of course giving the issues some thought is half the battle won in advance.

I agree. I have observed this phenomena my whole life, i have consciously countered it for many years now to avoid turning everybody into me, because i feel that THAT has a habit of happening when i spend long (physical) time around any individuals. My mind does it without me thinking about it. The technique you describe is among the tools my brain whips out if i do not consciously refrain from doing it, and even then i can not really stop it, i can just fight it. Even then i still feel that i "leak" myself all over people. It can not be kept down easily.

It happens precisely as you describe, the exact mechanics of the phenomena.

the whole glowing messiah thing, the whole mimicing of others 'tylers words coming out of my mouth' the dress the obsessive affirmation of my own opinion blanketed over any possible counter thinking..

I've been far from this essence that i can reconnect with rather quickly [days of yoga maybe?] but i cannot forget the lich like feeling it gives me, and the look on the faces of the thrall all around me as i walk among the sleepers.

In all interactions, the most immediate options would be either to oppose or to appease. Definitely, in a work environment, it makes sense to simply fulfill your function and not oppose the efforts of others, especially in your administration. A third option would be to simply remain neutral on all accounts if your position as a corporate drone is not truly your lifes ambition (no offense to any corporate drones reading this). There may be no reason to oppose the administration, but also there is no reason to get aggravated about some other employee who is verbose about his anti-establishment views or act in a manner that is counter-productive. Odds are your wage is the same either way. Show up, punch in, perform your required tasks for the allotted time, punch out, and forget the place exists, if you can. You definitely have better things to do.
In life, much the same can be said; no reason to be a lap-dog of the powers-that-be, and probably no reason to be flustered by the shit-disturbers out there who insist on making alot of noise without much in way of action to the contrary or solution to the problem.
Just a thought.
