The Mayan Prophesy

If anyone here has seen or heard of the new Indie movie, you should be somewhat aware of the "Crystal Skulls." While the movie was pretty innacurate in the actual lore, several crystal skulls have been unearthed, and are apparantly very sensitive to the energies in and surrounding the Earth. The ancient Mayans also had a prophesy regarding the Skulls, which involved a "Doomsday Calender." The Mayans believed that in their distant future (our 2014, approximately) there would be some great cataclysm with regards to one of their gods, specifically the one that represented the Axis the Earth turns on. It got me wondering if the prophesy has anything to do with the "Cosmic Re-Allignment" of the stars which will allow Great Cthulhu and the other Old Ones to return. I have no solid theorys yet, but wouldn't it be nice if it actually was as close as 2014? I'd love some feedback, theorys, ideas, facts, and comments! (keeping in mind that this is just some speculation from when I was bored )

I personally don't know anything about the crystal skulls, except from dr jones' involvement. But i have done a little background research about the mayan end of the universe prohecies. There is a three part lecture that i watched some time ago, i think it was called secrets of the mayan calander, or something to that effect. you may be able to find it on google video. The lecturer on there explains how the calendar is made up and how it corresponds to every member of the mayan community. (Supposedly they were named after the day and the month they were born) It just so happens that the calendar ends in 2012, but whether that means that it's just supposed to start again from zero, or that it will be, as the lecturer believes, the next step in evolution, is anyones guess.

Also...this is just based on something a friend told me, there is a planet that i can't remember the name of, that orbits our system. Our gravity is so affected by it that when it "aligns" in the necessary fashion, it will flip the earth onto it's opposite axis. Now it could be that the mayans knew this and only made their calendars long enough to last until the end of our "turn". Or, these are two completely unrelated items that have been bumped together to scare the shit out of anyone who dares look ito the subject.

The particular documentary I saw was about a ruin uncovered somewhere that linked the crystal skulls to the Mayan prophesy, and proposed that unless all the crystal skulls were returned to their proper places, the imbalance in energy would somehow unleash a horrible apocalypse upon the world. It was one of those documentaries that was all theory and they don't really prove anything, it was still pretty interesting though.

there are many theorys behind the mayan callender reset but that is actually "the reset that is" just the climax you have to look also at other happenings before hand like the serpent bearer (13th zodiac sign) also the passing of the age of pisces, wich we are now roughly in age of aquarius and history prooves that at the end of every age there is some sort of "cataclysm" some great happening thats gonna improove/hinder/or destroy our way of life ,some believe humans are at the verg of a great enlightenment,some say we are on the verge of the next evolution of the human race,others have doomsday and apocolyptic prophesies, every one has a theory what i think personaly is more important than the reset"climax" is what is happening now, current events, different Odd happenings in the world that just dont seem like they belong its the buid before the climax that is the most important that will either make this transition "whatever it s" easyer or harder

i've studied the mayan 2012 prophecies and planet X for a while and as i started reading more Lovecraft you can find many connections as well as connections throughout cultures worldwide...
the theory of the the crystal skulls is that there are 13 hidden perhaps across the globe that will...well do something amazing when brought together or awakened. the crystal skull is said to have telepathic abilities and be "super computers" storing ancient knowledge. some speculate they are alien in origin and if i remember correctly there has only been one, the first skull discovered by mitchell-hedges 1927, that could not be explained or recreated by modern man, the skull is perfectly detailed and smooth void of tool marks. www.world-mysteries.com/sar_6_1.htm
As for the planet your friend might have mentioned is called Nibiru, Marduk or planet X even thought of as the 2nd Sun. its said to have a huge orbit that eventually brings it close to earth and will...well do something amazing...theories range to stripping off the atmosphere, magnetic pole switch, spiritual awakening, breaking the reptilian control, to ultimate collision.
there are many different ideas regarding the subject all very interesting but all in all i do think a transition is at hand and long overdue

when our calendar flips over on December 31 no one expects the world is going to end. but that's the logic behind the 2012 fever . the Mayan calendar is just a LoOoOoOot longer . now, the Terrence McKenna calculations, on the other hand, are based on something a little more interesting IMO.

I was speaking to an old and very intelligent friend of mine a few years back about the Mayan calender. I had not known of it previously. He had read a theory on it. By whom I do not know. The theory was such.
The Mayan calender ends because time will no longer be linear. it shall become circular. This will happen because of the invention of the first time machine.
Skeptics of time travel say " If time travel is possible, where are the time travelers?" The answer is the same as door travelers. You cant walk through a door until it exists. From the moment a time travel devise is invented we can go from from the moment it is established forward and back to its invention but not before.

it just so happens i have a theory about time travelers . 200 years in the future our decedents have time traveling ability, but not to physically go back in time but merely holographically project objects in time . what they did with this new found technology was create religious events like flaming chariots in the sky and men walking on water.

two years till the zero year! oh anticipation is fun, im crossing my fingers for the Old Ones return but i'll settle for localized panic in the streets. but i am hopeful for something big
