I saw what may be a Cthulhu-like being right near the end of the first trailer for Hellboy II. He rises from beneath the streets. Guillermo del Toro's imagery is always a delight. The entire preview is here:

Cool, the beginning of Hellboy 1 is also rather Lovecraftian.
Im looking forward to the sequel, pretty neat movies.

Same here. Hellboy is awesome! BTW, your right Madguten, it is Lovecraftian. A quote from De Vermis Mysteriis is mentioned at the beginning of Hellboy and is referenced at later in the movie in regards to Sammael, the Hell Hound.
