This image was uploaded by the flickr user; Hil. The image is entitled "Flying Spaghetti Monster", but the interesting thing is that underneath the picture, in the description, it says; Ancient cave painting, south eastern AustraliaI dont know if its authentic or not. But i DO believe that i spot tentacles. This next one is hauntingly wonderful. It is a painting, simply entitled "Cthulhu Painting". It was uploaded by flickr user Nguyet Vuong. Here is what was said in the description text: This is at the end of my painting session. The nipples are filled, and the first layer of paint for the lamp and skull -- two of the few things I decided to change. This is also the third time I've repainted the blue atmosphere surrounding Cthulhu -- making it darker and more contrast. I had been thinking about these two images the last couple of days in particular.

wikipedia can tell you more than you ever wanted to know about the flying spaghetti monster. (no, it's not real)
but the second painting is hauntingly beautiful. thanks for posting it.

I just recently stumbled upon another interesting artist. This dude is painting some wicked shit too. Not directly Lovecraftian, but dreamy nonetheless. The paintings are in the "Paintings" section underneath the "photos" section on his site. www.uber.com/valdudesVery nice paintings.
