thanks
I have been working on a painting these last three days.
Usually i do stuff in one or two sitdowns, but the last couple of paintings i have made where so dull that i have not even bothered posting them online. This time i have only painted a little at a time. Its the first time i have made a painting in this way. Im beginning to enjoy scaling different ideas in the mind before painting them. Also it of course enables me to change and modify on a level that i dont usually do. Not that the painting is amazing or anything but it is helping me learn.
I'll post it when its done.

I wasnt allowed to go on the 9th grade trip. My teacher refused to bear the responsability of having me along.
OUR 9th grade trip only went to the danish island of Bornhold anyway, because that school is so dirt poor. So its not like i missed out.
Lejre is rather nice, i go there once a year with some of my family. Its always raining when we are there though.
Oh yeah, some years ago it was all in the media that someone had broken into the compound and preformed sacrifice and blood rituals of some sort. They had smeared sigils on the walls in animal blood, or something like that. But i never found out which system they had used.

Thanks
At Offermosen there are also full horse skins with skeleton suspended over the swamp with big stakes. I took pictures of those also but i havent found them yet. You can see the stakes in the background in the HEAD picture.

Beautiful pictures, and I love that you turned them into black and white pictures

Tak! The pictures were taken with a black & white film mainly because it is the cheapest (and we took a lot of pictures back then). Also i think that the equipment that we used to develop the pictures was only meant for black & white pictures because i never saw anybody developing color photos down there. I dont remember though because i developed these pictures ten years ago when i was 13 or something. I used to go and develop pictures in a "dark-room" every Sunday with my oldest brother. It was great.

Actually, I have some old pics from Lejre too, from the classtrip... I'm sacrificed by my classmate on a huge altar-like stone in one, and there's a few with me and my best friend playing with goats. ^.^
Those were the days...

I was recently at Lejre again, i got myself a great book about stone age bow and arrow construction. If i make a bow, i will make sure to show it ;D Anyway, i took some pictures. The last pictures i posted here where taken years ago, but not much has changed. This picture looks a lot like one of the previous i posted here. Here are some more pictures. I love those trees, alone on the top of the hill. I have photographed them a few times through my life. There were children activities with story-telling, battle-training and animal-autopsy for everyone, so there were kids everywhere that day (bless em). I had to hurry up a bit and snap some shots at OFFERMOSEN (sacrificial swamp). This time the pictures were taken with a digital camera, so they dont look as cool, but more detailed (compared to the old black/white pictures). The water hole was almost dried out, it changes from time to time, the ground was covered in reddish brown leaves, EVERYWHERE. This is a close in of the top right corner of the last previous picture. Its a man and a woman, the man has wood, lol Get it? wood, they're made out of.. never mind ;D ;D ;D
