i think a more accurate distinction would be inner and outer freedom. mental, emotional, and spiritual freedom is on the inside. physical freedom is on the outside. ideally, one would like both; however, inner freedom is superior.
VSI concur! Mental freedom is all I truly know having relied on my imaginings since childhood.I'm sure to more physical people physical freedom is important, but its just my nature to focus on the mental and at times, the spiritual aspect.

a good exercise would be sitting still for a length of time, say 3 minutes. do absolutely nothing... no fidgeting, no talking, no moving at all for 3 solid minutes. you'd be surprised how strange it feels and how difficult it is for some.
people move so much that it keeps people from actually thinking.
if you have trouble Self-Remembering, then try this exercise. you will be able to observe and remember yourself easier without your physical self getting in the way.

I remember doing an exercise like this when i first got into occult,it was very insightful. One of the many reasons meditation is good for the mind. When your still pass 10 minutes, you begin to feel all the energy flowing through your body and the dark space expands.
Imma come across as a freak but for some odd reason I find the random, unpredictable and strange movements of people (specifically women) highly erotic and stimulating YET immensely terrifying at the same time.Eros and Thanatos meet on this physical plane.Hence why watching a fight acted out is less of an impact than watching 2 real people, why gore in real life is far sickening than in a horror movie or why porn is so appealing.Nothing is staged and nothing is hidden.Eros and Thanatos are trapped in this plane for those with eyes.
I neither love nor hate this gross physical reality but it does fascinate me.Its...so surreal,no artist ever comes close to depicting the world as I see it not even me.However, the world I create (or do I observe?) in my mind is far superior than reality or some movie. The strange thing...I summon things by accident that come to me sometimes when i dont have control of my imaginings or thoughts. Its really hard to describe but its beyond perceptions of this world.Like I can see something behind me as somethin occurs in front of me...like a sphere covered in eyes lookin out.Like a god.And when i control what happens (I call it writing the story for my characters), its euphoric.
Imagine, moving with no wasted energy. No unecessary movements, maneurisms or anything. This level of bio feedback takes IMMENSE concentration,to maintain this level awareness for 10 -20 minutes is almost exhausting.
Im sorry,i digressed.
