i've really slowed down. used to paint a slew of 'em in a week. now it takes a slew of weeks to do a single painting. my style is changing too. hopefully this is progress.
if you know of anyone who wants to buy such art, then please direct them here.
thanks,

I was going to email you after you left the 'Vampire' LaVey as a comment on my lamespace account, but I figured it is appropriate to ask here.
Why was your inspiration to vampir'ize' him?

well, i didn't intend to do that when i started the painting. the way his face came out, it was like LaVey meets Vincent Price as Joseph Curwen (see the movie The Haunted Palace, an adaption of Lovecraft's The Case of Charles Dexter Ward)... and Anton was looking hungry. yes, he seemed to be thirsting for something in a malevolent way.
adding the blood just came naturally to me and then after the painting dried i thought it looked a bit like some of those actors from the 1960's and 70's who played Dracula. voila!
so it didn't begin as a premeditated statement. although i consider LaVey to be rather immortal.
