So true. If your body is in bad shape it certainly effects other parts of ones existence, more so as one gets older. I think that a daily exercise program is important, not that you HAVE to do it every day, it is just a good habit. The training should just be something light, if it is a daily program it is important not to hurt your body, of course different things can be added to the daily training to get an all around exercise. Its good to get all around. Oh yeah a nice and easy exercise that one can do all the time, anywhere, is balance exercise, i think its good for the brain. Like mathematics.

I agree with both posts. Very important to maintain a decent level of fitness. Good diet can be important in this as well, ignoring junk food and eating lots of fish and sea food (a Deep One connection there?). It all helps to purify the mind and help with discipline and focuss.
Yoga I found particularly helpful in that regard as it helps with the mind as well as the body and brings about body awareness. It also does wonders for visualisation. I try to have a bike ride a day if time permits and do weights at home when I have nothing else to do. Used to do Iaido and Aikido but have got a bit lax in those areas nowadays.
Nothing too strenuous with the exercise though- I don't want it to become a chore.

Like the subject ;D Well Madguten if you are looking for a good balance exercise I'll give you one It's something I do on a daily basis a series of yoga exercises. One of particular interest for balance is 'the tree' : it strengthens the ankles and feet, loosens the hips, enlarges flexibility of the knee and improves balance and concentration. Once yoga becomes a routine and you can focus on breathing and visualization it becomes a true feast! And a good way to get to know yourself. I agree with Huscarle on the purifying part, it's a great way to be truly aware of the duality of the human body and mind that work together when well tuned. If you learn to listen to your body it will be a source of insight in who you are. Also the energy Madras I find very useful. Also I run 3 times aweek and it is a powerful grounding exercise, releases tension and clears the head. Especially taking it up to your extreme limit gives a lot of satisfaction, as if you could handle just about anything. I haven't been running the past 3 weeks and I feel the difference. It's running time again! I also go to the gym once or twice a week for RPM (Raw Power Movement) and it a kind of indoor cycling with music. Pretty intense to be honest, after one hour of intense cycling I sometimes feel like a could drop dead at the spot. At least you know then that there is a body and you are alive, LOL!

Yeah, i cant really match that workout. I do some homemade basic stuff. Mostly stretching out and some hitting and kicking training, thats the only stuff i do on a daily basis. On an irregular basis i like to throw in all kinds of different trainings. I try to keep attention on not hurting myself with stupid training methods, but it doesnt always work out that way. I have watched far too many martial arts movies (if that is possible). EDIT: Just a quick advise. Use training nunchucks, the real ones hurt like hell.

Awesome subject!! I currently workout every other day. I dabbled in yoga awhile back and now I've been thinking I would like to get back into it. I'm planning on regulating my diet too. You have to consider what you're looking for. I used to just want to feel good. Lately I've been thinking about the "chicks" aspect and I've decided, I want it all! (Reminds me of a good Queen song.) Fitness ties in nicely with magic. And let's not forget. Better sex!
