Hello,
since I just introduced myself as in service of the Great Cthulhu in other thread, I am willing to share the details of my life and hope to be of use to the cult.
I'm far left winged in my politics, and very much Lacanian in my psychoanalysis. Been a while since I read some good art literature, but Lovecraft has always remained in my life as unmeasurable to the other authors, and even he spoke the words of the Cthulhu, in which my beliefs lie. So truly I listen to doom metal mostly, black metal, old schools goes very smooth on that, old school goth rock and darkwave and well anything that goes with sadness and horror the Cthulhu might approve. And fucking much into studies.
Frightened to join the Cult Eager for him to rise.

Welcome to our discussion boards, shemyaza. Thanks for joining us and introducing yourself. As always, if you want a free PDF of Cthulhu Cult, then just send me an email. Liber A:O is already available on the CoC website.
Unlike most groups, which have an outwardly similar appearance, we don't resign ourselves to appreciating Lovecraft (or LaVey or Stephen King, etc.) and just leave it at that. No, for us, this is just the beginning. The Cult of Cthulhu teaches individuals to Awaken from the sleep of life, stepping outside our self to reveal a different kind of programming than what we assumed was running in the background. The word "reality" should always be used in quotes because it is subjective, dependent on context, interpretation, and one's personal filtration system.
No one's going to stop you from being an HPL fan or (im)patiently waiting for Dread Cthulhu's rise, but there are a few around here, like myself, who might challenge you from time to time - prodding your familiar thoughts and feelings (the intellectual and emotional center) with a sharp stick... or even a tentacle.
Awake!

Indeed, and welcome to the board.
Perhaps you might share with us what you've studied thus far, and how this 'approval' is sought and why?
