Meditations on the Black Adept
The Black Adept is an anti-cosmic force, electing to use its powers to fight a perpetual rebellion against the objective universe-Not necessarily in a coarse, anti-social sense, but rather in a magico-religious one. Indeed, humanity might be seen as a source of potential comrades in the anti-cosmic struggle(though likely only a few), and therefore not something which should be cultivated rather than blindly opposed. The individual would utilize hir creative potential to declare an artistic war on the universe-Perhaps similar to the situational anarchism proposed by Hakim Bey. But also this system of thought could involve the use of dark magical forces in its revolutionary struggle against reality-I.E., the Qliphothic, Satanic, and Thursic forces.
The purpose of such a movement would not be the limited material goal s found in a typical revolution, but rather a seeking towards the true unconditional freedom found only in the uncreated darkness(e.g. Boehme's ungrund).
The Black Adept acts as a black hole, draining prana from the universe and using it to manifest/become hir own universe. The Black Adept becomes akin to the devouring dragon who swallows the world between its jaws-On another level, the Black Adept transfers energies from the cosmos to the Sitra Ahra, the realm of the Qliphothic forces.
The Black Adept is an inheritor of the forbidden antediluvian sorceries of the pre-Adamic worlds known as the Kings of Edom, the remnants of previous Sephirothic constructions which were overwhelmed by the liberating dark power of the lawless powers. The vessels, or kelim, which were destroyed in the process contain a reshimu, or residue, of the Adversarial power of the Kings of Edom. A spark of this power is what comprises the essence of the Black Flame. The empowering and cultivation of this is the key to the sinister self-becoming of the Black Adept.
