I primarily deal with the Lovecraftian current that flows through the Cult's brilliant blend of esoteric philosophy, Satanism, and eldritch horror. This is obvious as I am a Dreaming Herald of the Old Gods.
I, however, realize the importance of all the currents within the Cult; Adversarial, Dreaming, and Esoteric. Each current flows into a river which blends and co-mingles the paths together. I have the most experience with the Adversarial current, as I was a Satanist for the greater part of a decade. I have the least experience with the Esoteric current, in fact, I'm at the most basic level one could be when it comes to The Fourth Way.
Is there a more beneficial method to studying the Work than just reading the works Gurdjieff and Ouspensky? What I am looking for are some suggestions on to how to go about this the right way. I am looking for some sort of exercise or something to practice on a daily basis that can help me grasp the concepts.
Any advice that anyone would have, any exercises that anyone has would be immensely helpful to me.

A great question, brother. I'm glad you asked. Exalt!
The most basic and useful Fourth Way technique is Self-Remembering. In its simplest form, a student divides his attention into two. The first part of his attention is employed upon something external - like the keyboard in front of you, for example. The second part of the student's attention is employed upon himself.
After you have that down, attention must be divided into three. The last third should be employed upon everything, the big picture, the Work itself, as well as, the role is supposed to play within it. If you have trouble with any of that, then ask yourself the following questions. What is this? Who am I? Why is everything happening the way it is?
The proper utilization of attention requires vast amounts of premium energy. This is just one of the reasons why expressing negative emotions is detrimental to Awakening.
I hope this helps. At some point, however, you're going to want to read Gurdjieff, Ouspensky, Nicoll, and others.

I answered this on the social network :
Ho yes you may practice daily !
Remember yourself : literally, remember of yourself, remember you are, you exist. Be as conscious as possible : conscious of you body, your feelings, the world around you, the air you breath, the ground under your feet, etc, and as much as possible, all in the same time. Observe yourself : Notice your reactions in all situations of the day.
These "exercises" are not to be made daily, but as often as possible, all the day long.
In addition, read and assimilate the books of Ouspensky, read again "Cthulhu Cult".
If you work seriously, expect the first results after 2-3 months.
Now is the moment of Awakening

^ THIS!
Ideally, it's the quickest route than traveling the other (3) as any one particular Modus Operendi.
The quickest route from A to B is usually a straight line, so why get all wonky on your methodologies? The chaos element is useful in that you don't get hung up on any strict dogma or protocol but without self-rembering its an effort in futility. I mean, if you don't know your self how can you even know what you need to work on? How do you know when you are being stubborn, stagnating, and being asleep if you are enjoying the dream?

Be brutally honest with yourself about everything. Think about and maintain focus on what's truly important in life. Do NOT try to become a 4th Way guru who knows all the vocabulary. When you read the books, don't read them like ordinary books where you're trying to learn everything in them and read them start to finish. Read a few pages and then spend weeks trying to actually live it. Make your reading an inspiration, not an obstacle, to simply listening to your inner self. This is about walking the path, not naming it: The way that can be named is not the eternal way, The name that can be named is not the eternal name. Do the work, all pretension dismissed. Yes, especially brutal honesty directed towards oneself and reading a few pages, live what is being taught, then read some more. Well said.
Learn to hate the dream. That should stir up mixed feelings. Good. Make war with yourself.
