I am very interested in becoming an initiate of Palo Mayombe and am an initiate in Toltec Shamanry via the Carlos Castaneda books and etc.
I also am very keen to explore the Voodoo. Obeah and other Carribean, American (south and central) and African Shamanry practices.
I have been unsuccessful in my endeavors as most of the good sites are not in English and have had no luck in finding a mentor in these areas and am slowly trying save up for for a rare edition of a Palo Mayombe book and other stuff.
I would like permission to discuss this with you in length via PM as I asume you are a practitioner of Palo Mayombe and need counsel over this and counsel over a dream I have had regarding Palo Mayombe.

I have a copy of Nicholaj Frisvold's "Palo Mayombe: The Garden of Blood and Bones". I liked it a fair amount, and as I understand it has generally received a favorable reception.

That book is on my to read list, which I am hoping to read of next year as I have so much work to focus on and to catch up on at the moment.
I am really eager to start reading it, but I know I must be patient.
I will be forcing myself to learn Spanish by mid next year sometime as most of the material in this area are in Spanish and have given up trying to good stuff in English especially the documentaries.
