I'm basically here to see whether or not this particular form of praxis is bullshit or not.
I'm interested in seeing how belief and utilization of fictional entities, such as those espoused in the Mythos can actually manifest and be of use upon Malkuth/Nahemoth.
This is by no means me trying to be antagonistic or stirring up the shit pot. I'm currently reading the Cult of Cthulhu text by Venger, and I'm finding it well-written and interesting so far.
I hope I can converse with some fascinating people on here.

I prefer this approach myself. I investigated it for a year or so as a skeptic before engaging.
Feel free to post any questions, and/or critics as you review our material.

Thank you for the kind responses! I was worried that my seemingly antagonistic intro would offend some people, but I was wrong...
You guys seem intelligent and witty. I might just enjoy this.
I've always been fascinated with utilizing Lovecraft's mythos in a magical sense... Maybe I'll shock myself in finding out just how real it is.

I myself fucked around for two years before joining. The Cult is admittedly a little slow at times, but there is definitely a legitimate and well established practice, though perhaps a little lacking in ritual material.

There is material, but the idea is that 'rituals' are developed by the culstists themselves, with guidance from the upper echelon.
What rituals would you like to design for your personal practice?

CSI design all of the workings I do myself, I was referring more to the seed of ideas and symbols from which the rituals grow, than the rites themselves. I tend to find the CoC paradigm fairly bent toward philosophy, rather than Magick, though that may simply be because the cultus gauges achievement mostly based on philosophical essays. Most of the material I design leans heavily on the ONA crutch, as well as drawing from other Chaos Magickal practices, with a fair amount of alchemical imagery involved as well.
