I don't know if anyone remebers this episode from the real Ghostbusters but it's interesting in that it has a theory on how the rite of the Necronomicon work. Enjoy folks

Thanks a bunch for the link. I have watched half of it last night, what a nostalgic reunion. I used to draw things from the ghostbuster cartoon when i was like 8.
Anyway, thanks for the link. It came at the perfect time as i have recently been watching old cartoons online. Mainly DINORIDERS

"i'm here to ask for regular, or at least semi-regular participation on the forum. we've got a good thing going here, but 5 or 6 people can't be expected to carry the burden alone."
You have too many topics. Narrow em down to less then 10.

i find it extremely ironic that you posted this message in the wrong topic/thread.
yes, the forum is extensive and widespread which can be both advantage and disadvantage. i've thought about limiting the number of categories, but cannot happily visualize threads about Nietzsche to be lumped in with Lovecraft and quantum physics with Thelema.
however, this is a side issue. as you quoted, i need a fraction of the hundreds of people who joined the forum to visit, to post, to make a difference. where are the men of action, of deed? where must we search for those who would take the necessary steps to change reality?!? i have opened the way... the Great Old Ones wait for those who have the courage to act.

It wasnt my goal to make it ironic, i posted it in the topic i saw it fit. I checked the other 30 topics and this was the best one. It is the "General Board" And the call for Kutulu. Im not here to piss on people. I am a servant of the elder ones. azagthoth.servebeer.com

the "General" board is fine; however, this particular thread was started to discuss The Real Ghostbusters cartoon from the 80's. we don't have an actual "About the Forum" board... which is again ironic because then that would only add to the number of topics.
i do value your opinion on the matter, but for now i feel comfortable with the number of categories and boards the Cult of Cthulhu forum has.
the real point of my last post was to get people fired up, to get them in participation mode.

I cant get the link to work, it just times out. ( UPDATE/EDIT: the link works fine, the problem lies with my IP ) Anyway i agree that it is hard to find ones way around the board at first, but after a while it becomes easier. I couldnt imagine any of the topics disappearing.
Anyway, i watched the rest of the cartoon and its great. I highly recommend it for anyone who has a thing for retro cartoons. I especially like the fact that the cult actually uses real chants, and not just mumbo-jumbo.

The link works fine.. if your not on my list. Iv blocked out Denmark and alot of other countries. I just got tired at all the hackers and banned their countries IP ranges. I run my server on my own box on my 100mps line and do not need to be hacked or DoS 24/7

we try.what kind of movies? have you ever read H.P. Lovecraft?
if you want to post an introduction, then that might be the best way to get to know people and have them get to know you. and of course, there's a board for Introductions.

IA IA IAK SAKATH! How can you not like that!?! I know he pisses the vocals off but it was hippie times.
I also like Dagon. Possibly the best adaption of it ever.

I just recently got this along with Necronomicon on DVD imdb.com/title/tt0107664/Necronomicon isn't available in the states on DVD yet I dont think but should be soon... As for From Beyond this is one of the best Stuart Gordon films ever... Well ReAnimator is up there as well but this one has so many fascinating aspects of horror and the whole idea of vibrations stimulating the pineal gland to see properly hell thats gotta have some sort of credibility to it...
