Most so-called christian holidays have a pagan origin, actually. I don't know them all by heart, but that's always an interesting bit of information to look at.

Most so-called christian holidays have a pagan origin, actually. I don't know them all by heart, but that's always an interesting bit of information to look at. I know its a bit late in posting this but just about all 'christian' holidays I believe were replaced by the catholic church to enforce their religion upon the pagans they conquered... They believed by introducing christ into the lives of these people and replacing their mythological figures with saints and christ they would be more successful in turning them towards christianity... Well that or it was the Inquisition for them... Take their choice... We just still see it practised today out of habit...
