I painted the first image about 7 or 8 months ago and the second image was painted last week. All things considered, each piece of art can be viewed as my attempt to render a naked woman with tentacles.
Notice the various places where my style has changed, where I have improved, the different choices I made. Because it is art, you might think the earlier piece is "better" than the later one. I see an evolution and hopefully others will too. More to come...Uploaded with ImageShack.usUploaded with ImageShack.usFeel free to post your feedback, suggestions, or start a conversation about how an artist's work changes over time.

The first is a woman with tentacles, but the second is definitively not human any more... impression of change, of crossing something so image is more powerful. Colors are half natural, too...
Yeah the first could stay such for all her life but in the second picture there is dynamism, we are witness of a process.
Just one thing, I think giving her too big boobs distract our attention from the overhaul picture.
Considered hairs becoming tentacles ? (Too classical maybe)

Something psychedelic in the back ground would be rad. To take attention off the extremely hot tits:)

In the first piece you have shown us a woman with tentacled hands looking out at the viewer. Her hands are raised in beckoning or display, her head turned slightly to the Left while her gaze is directed at the audience. The expression of her face can be interpreted in several ways. At first, one may take surprise from her expression, however upon closer examination her eyes speak more of a seductive challange. The fraction of pubic hair at the bottom of the painting hints at sexuality more overtly than the large breasts. The vulva, representing the gateway to the hidden and unseen, is itself hidden and thus speaks of deeper desires than the commonly-displayed and relatively socially-acceptale breasts which speak more of fleshy lusts.
In the second painting, we're shown a transformation. Rather than the seductive control that the first woman maintains, this woman is subject to something greater than herself. The tentacle emerging from beneath her eyelid speaks of what was inside coming out - breaking free, while the explicit depiction of her genitalia invites us in, to where the transformation begins.
The evolution I see is not so much in the style you have used in the second piece, but more in the overall image. It is easy to show a Thing - something, someone, no matter how otherworldly- as it is. However, capturing a process and a transformation, and having more layers of meaning and insight in it, is much more difficult. In this way, I certainly see the second painting as a step forward from the first.
