I know it's a little late to bring this up, but did anyone see the new Star Trek movie? It's actually pretty good! I'm hoping they go ahead and remake Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan as that was (disputably) the best Star Trek movie every made...

A remake would be difficult since the first was so awesome. Describe your favorite part fonetik, mine would be near the ending when Khan gives his speech about his last breath. Very dramatic with the music rising. The sound track might be underestimated.
I just watched "Drop Zone" again, with Wesley snipes & realized Pirates of the Caribbean stole the music, interesting. Jerry must have seen that it was to good a song to be let go lol.
Awake!

Thing is, the JJ Abrams Star Trek movie reboot, completely re-set the Star Trek universe time-line. It's not even certain now the events of the original series regarding Kahn ever occurred now. So a remake is possible, but also unlikely.

True! But not impossible! My favorite part was also near the end, when Spock gives his famous line, "The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few." Followed closely by the point when Khan abandons Kirk on that planet and Kirk gives his famous word, "Khaaaaaaaaan!!!!!!!!"

So a remake is possible, but also unlikely. Well they could go with him being the worst of the Tyrants in stead of the best,or they could have him actually win the Eugenics Wars only to lose his empire due to a world wide rebellion,or he simply got disgusted with his Superhumans siblins and left planet earth. But whats more it doesn't even have to Have Khan in it they could use this to explore how things with have went with the Norse Superman that was originally intended to be the character in teh original Star Trek series episode Space Seed, before they decided to go with the Character of Khan Noonien Singh. Oh yeh i highly recommend the Star Trek Novels out about Khan Noonien Singh,The Eugenics Wars Vols 1 and 2,as well as the book To Reign in Hell:the Exile of Khan Noonien Sign

I've always been a fan of Star Trek, I was hooked on the series in the 70's and 80's, fell in love with Spock's character, and still remains my favorite. I would agree on Spock's speech, which carries on through future films, and episodes: The needs of the few, outweighing the needs of the many, when Kirk puts everything on the line to rescue Spock, to remind him of what he once was before pure logic took hold once more.
